Chapter 3» Shawn Stop.

Shawn went in my room and placed my guitar on my bed.

"Shawn HES coming hide or something?"
I said in panic. Then the door bust open. I froze I'm place so did Shawn.

"Who is this?"

"It's my friend Shawn."

"You Know the rules Skyler!" He yelled at me. I jumped when he started to yell at me. I just looked down shaking a little. then I heard shawn speak.

"Hey you shouldn't be yelling at your daughter like that." He said stern with anger.

"Shawn Stop."

"I don't think that Skyler should be yelled at like that. she didn't even do anything to you."

I ran to Shawn and tugged his sweater.
"Shawn stop your gonna get hurt."

"And hitting her is called abuse. simply hitting a girl is disrespect." He said getting angry. I saw anger in both my dads and Shawn's eyes. my dad came to Shawn and slapped him. but I got in Shawn's way so he actually slapped me.

I held my cheek as it turned warm.
"Skyler what are you doing?"
Shawn whispered in my ear.

"Saving you." I replied.

Shawn moved me and he pushed my dad making his stumble but got his balance. He push Shawn back. but Shawn didn't move a bit,

"Okay Shane, Shawn what ever your name is your gonna have to leave."

"I'm not leaving until you treat this girl right,how she's suppose to be treated." he said smiling at me.

"What about you get out of here,"

My dad replied. Shawn gave him a good punch in the face. and my dad lip started to bleed. he punched Shawn in return and Shawn Kneed his stomach. making my dad fall to the ground.

I didn't know what to do. I stood in the corner shocked of what just happened.
"You better treat her nicely." shawn said.

"Okay if you treat her nice then what about Skyler stay with you. if you want her to be treated so nice."

"Okay Skyer pack some stuff your coming to stay with me."

"Oh..okay." I replied I got some clothes,my tooth brush and my phone And my charger. shawn grabbed my guitar and my back pack. and we headed out the window. I looked back at my dad and he was there in shock. That was the last time I ever saw him.

"Shawn are you sure I'll be staying with you?"

"Yes..ill treat you like your suppose to be treated. A man Doesn't simply hit a girl that's disrespect and just plain Rude. nobody should be hit everyday and forced to do stuff."

"Shawn.."

"You know you could've turned to the school or the police and told them what happen."

"I know but I'm scared. to be honest my only best friends is you and Mandy she works at Tim Hortons."

He pulled me into a hug and I hugged him back.
"I'll all ways be there for you. you can count on me. always."

It started to snow again so we ran to his house. his parents were sitting On the couch.

"Hey mom,dad I got someone you need to meet. Skyler."

"Hi." I said shaking their hands.

"She's gonna be staying with us."

"Shawn may we talk to you in private? not to be rude to Skyler"

"It's okay." I said as I sat on the couch.

Shawns parents took him to the kitchen.

»Shawns POV«

"Shawn we don't even know her!"

"But she got abused and her mom passed away so her dad beat her and I felt bad and so we became boyfriend and girlfriend. NO GIRL SHOULD BE HIT LIKE THAT ITS DISRESPECTFUL."

I said as my eyes got teary.
I love Skyler.

"Shawn...we didn't know but yeah she can stay with us."

My tears disappeared as I turned happy.

»Skyler's POV«

Shawn came back and we settled in his room. he made room in his drawers for my clothes and then placed my guitar on a stand never to his. I plugged in my phone to my charger. and I hugged him.

"Your the best thing that ever happened to me." I said hugging tighter.

"I love you Skyler. and I will always."

It was late so we decided to go to sleep. I changed into some joggers and a teeshirt that said 'I love my pillow'
Shawn changed into joggers also and put on a grey shirt. we then fell asleep together.
