Tod

I placed heaven on the guest room bed and had to tie her hands and feet down because I knew as soon as she woke up she'd run. I need to talk to her. I need to somehow persuade her to stay here with me. I've missed her so much and I can't let her go again. My beautiful daughter. I finally have her back. She's just as beautiful as I remember. She was my pride and joy until her mother took her from me. I will sit in the chair beside the bed and wait for her to wake up.

Heaven

As I started to wake up I noticed I was in a different place. This wasn't my room and this wasn't my house.

"Help me! Where am I?"

"Shhh shhh. Stop screaming. It's okay. No body's going to hurt you. You're perfectly safe here. I'm your dad and I took back what's mine. I don't even know if you remember me, which is sad, but I have missed you so much Heaven. You don't even know."

"Wait. You're my father? I'm pretty sure I would remember my own father."

"Yes I am you're father. Your mother took away my rights to see you because I was always drinking. I ruined everything. I'm so sorry. Because of me, you grew up without a dad. Words can't even explain how sorry I am."

"Umm.. it's okay. But what I don't understand is why you had to kidnap me!"

"I wouldn't really call it "kidnapping" because you were mine to begin with. I just had to take back what solely belonged to me secretly because I knew your mother would never allow me to see you, even though I no longer have a drinking problem. I've worked so hard on becoming alcohol free for you Heaven and I'll be damned if I let your piece of shit mother ruin this for me again! I'm going to make everything up to you. I promise."

"No that's okay. Please just let me go home. I won't tell anyone anything. I promise."

"Heaven, sweetheart, now we both know I can't do that. It took a lot of waiting and planning and so many AA meetings that I can't just give you up. You will love your life here. You'll have everything you'd ever want and need."

"Well can you at least unite me?"

"I'm sorry but I can't do that because I know you'll run from me. I know this is probably really frightening for you right now but I promise, you'll want to live here for the rest of your life."
