Chapter 40: Dreams

When we arrived home, everything was clean and Haru-kun handed the baby to Mara as Mara brought Megumi to the room that we made just for the baby.

"Mara I'll leave your food here" I called as I made my way towards the kitchen putting the food on the table.

I made my way towards the room as I saw Haru-kun taking his shirt off and I saw how sweaty he was. I grabbed a towel as I went behind him

"You're so sweaty" I mumbled as I wiped his sweats

"I'll get a new shirt" I said handing him the towel as I look through his closet, then I grabbed a black and white shirt as I tossed it to him.

Then I looked for a pants for him to wear, I grabbed a beige colored pants as I tossed it to him.

I took my clothes off as I changed into some comfortable pajamas then I looked over to him, he was sitting on the bed as he eyed me.

"You should rest I'm sure your hands are tired from carrying Megumi" I said, walking up to him as I sat next to him.

"Actually, I was happy that she finally loved me" He was smiling happily as he look at his palm

"Remember that time when we were kids, we dreamed of having our own family and now it's all coming true" I said as I squeezed his hand.

"Yeah we did, remember that time when I told you we had an assignment that we had to write our dream?"

"What's that?" Haru-kun looked at the paper that was in my hand as I glanced at him

"Oh this?" I turned back to my paper "We had an assignment that we have to write our dreams for the future!" I answered happily

"Read it!" I shoved the paper on his hand, he was reluctant at first but he read it.

"When I grow up I want to become a successful businesswoman and a mother with 2 kids a boy and a girl and I want my husband to be Haru-kun" When he was done reading it, He flicked my forehead

"You don't know what you're writing" He mumbled but then later on he smiled as he leaned his chin on his palm.

"Oh yeah I remembered" He laughs, I gazed at him, before he was a silent and shy type of guy.

"Haru-kun, Why did you fell for me?" After realizing what I just said I stood up

"Haha yeah I forgot I had something to do!" I was about to walk away when I felt a hand pull me back then I later on realized I was on Haru-kun's lap.

Our faces were close as Haru-kun stare at me with a teasing smirk on his face.

"I fell for you cause you helped me even though you knew I was a bad guy and I fell for you because you accepted who I was and lastly it's because I love you I can't explain but all I know is that everytime I'm with you, I feel like a normal person, not the person I was before, the insane, drug-addict maniac" He chuckled

"You were the only one who treated me like this and I don't regret meeting you or proposing to you and we're gonna be married next month too" He planted a kiss on my forehead then he gazed at me as he kissed my lip softly.
