**Tommy's POV**

Phil has been fighting against our old foster parents for a couple of weeks now. The jury has reconvened today and we are hoping that we will be given the verdict.

Technoblade has been teaching me to fight properly. I think I'm getting pretty good. It's actually been nice to redirect all of my anger into a hobby. It's teaching me to control myself. We practice every day after school.

School has actually gotten pretty good, the dream team hasn't bothered us again and Tubbo and I are actually starting to make some friends. I don't know if it's because they're trying to stay on Technoblade's good side or because they actually like us but they seem genuine. And if they decided to try and mess with us, I can protect us and I know all of my brothers will be there to back me up.

**Technoblade's POV**

"You've done well today Tommy, take a break." I say to him. He ignores me and continues to hit the bag.  "Tommy come on, you've trained enough for today, you have to rest." I put a hand on his shoulder.

He turns towards me, "no Technoblade! I can't!" He turns back towards the bag and hits it harder.

I let him hit it a few more times before I grab his wrists and kneel down to him. I look into his eyes, the pain is written all over his face. I pull him into a hug.

I feel his body relax slightly and he hugs me back. I hear his quiet sobs. "What if they come back Techno? What if they try to take Tubbo from me? Them hurting Tubbo was .... Was the scariest moment of my life."

I continue to hug him. "Tommy, I know you're scared, but we're all here for you. They can't just waltz in and hurt you. Let's think about this logically because you're very good at that." I stop hugging him and stay kneeling while putting my hands on his shoulders. He nods at me.

"Okay, think about your old foster parents. All of the times they hurt you and Tubbo, were they graceful with their actions?" He wrinkles his nose at me. "What I mean is, were they doing well? Did they have the stances, did they have decent movement? We're they quiet?"

Tommy thought about it for a second. "No I guess not, they were sloppy with their movement and relied on their strengths and our lack of experience."

"Exactly. So they won't be able to get in here quietly, they won't be able to fight against two world class fighters, one of which happens to be a lawyer. And they won't be able to fight against you either because you have been getting really good and you know how to win even without being tall."

"I am tall, bitch! I am the biggest man!!!"
I chuckle slightly. He's back. Tommy smiles at me and gives me one more quick hug.

"Thanks Techno."

"Not a problem kid." I ruffle his hair.

I hear the front door of the house open and close, the footsteps are clearly dad's. I look at Tommy and I know he's thinking the same thing. We both run upstairs. We are greeted with Dad putting his coat and brief case away.
Tubbo and Wilbur must have heard as well because before long all four of us were looking at dad waiting for a response.

He looked at us, more specifically at Tommy and Tubbo. "We won."

"Wait really?! It means they're gone?" Tubbo asked in disbelief.

"They're gone. They will be in jail for the rest of their lives. There was an overwhelming amount of evidence against them and when other people got word of the case, they came forward and there was no way they could win."

Tommy and Tubbo hugged each other.
"FUCK YEAH! THEY'RE GONE!" Tommy yelled and before long Tubbo and Wil started joining in on the celebration. I just smiled, knowing that we're all going to be okay. My brothers and my family are going to be okay.

***3 am that night***

I wake up to the smell of smoke. I wake up quickly before running downstairs and seeing what's going on.

The house is on fire! How is the house on fire?! Why aren't the smoke alarms working? I run to grab the fire extinguisher and where it should be there is a white smiley face mask.

The flames are growing bigger and bigger. I need to get my family out. I run up the hall to see the flames starting to go up the walls.

"WAKE UP! FIRE!" I yell before all I can see is a wall of flames.
