Chapter 47

-Emiko POV-

We arrived and we saw them hit Tetsuya in the stomach.
The Captain of Jabberwock grabbed Tetsuya by the shirt.
"Tetsuya!" I shouted and went in for a kick, but the captain dodged.

"You fuckers..." said Aomine.
I kneeled down by Tetsuya while the boys stood in front of us.
"What do you think you're doing with our teammate" said Aomine.

"Are you okay?" I asked to Tetsuya and he nodded.
He saw that I was upset he went off on his own and got hurt.
"Seems you guys are our match-ups for tomorrow's match" said a member of Jabberwock. "But you're just another bunch of monkeys. But that doesn't matter. What about a fight right here?"

"Enough" said Seijuro.
"Akashi-kun" said Tetsuya.
"I understand well" said Seijuro. "When it comes to you if it's a player you're up against, you'd rather settle it in basketball, right?"

"Yes, please" said Tetsuya.
"There's no point in fighting here" said Seijuro. "Let's go"
I put Tetsuya's arm over my shoulders and held him up.

"I'd like to check out Tetsuya's injury" I said.
"What was that?" the member of Jabberwock began to laugh. "You came here for something ridiculous and leaving after taking a punch in your face? Above stupidity but also coward too. That's why you all are monkeys! You might piss your pants tomorrow so you might as well bring extra pairs!"
"Shut up, you scum" said Seijuro. "You guys just be ready to lose. We are going to mop the floor with you tomorrow"

I brought Tetsuya to my house where my father checked his injuries.
I sat on my bed, I was angry at Tetsuya, but I also understood where he was coming from.
"Emi?" Tetsuya knocked on my door and entered.

"What?" I asked and didn't look at him.
"I'm sorry" he said and sat down next to me.
"You idiot" I said and he touched my face.

"I'm really sorry, for making you worry" he said and I hugged him.
"You really are an idiot! You know that?" I shouted.
"I know" he smiled and hugged me back.

"Damn it, Tetsu" I said.
He touched my face and placed a soft kiss on my lips.
"I love you" he whispered and I blushed.

"I love you too" I whispered and he laid down next to me in my bed.
I slowly fell asleep, with warm arms around me...

It was time for the game...
"After receiving humiliation from Jabberwock a week ago, a dream team of High Schoolers arrived" said the announcer. "The monster from Alice in the Kingdom of God who was named Jabberwock was slain by this sword. This sword's name is Vorpal Swords! It's time for revenge! Vorpal Swords! Versus! Jabberwock!"

"Hey babies. Did you remember to bring your diapers?" It was Silver.
"Try to remain calm, Emiko-chan" said Satsuki.
"Yeah, yeah" I said. "I'll try to control my bad temper"

"Now... Tip-Off!" shouted the announcer.
Murasakibara jumped and we got the ball first.
Seijuro passed to Aomine, who scored the first points.

Aomine was playing well, he managed to get past them easily.
"It's a good start" I said. "But, they're not playing us for real yet"

Gold, the Jabberwock captain didn't manage to get past Seijuro, so he was forced to pass.
Murasakibara blocked the shot, and Midorima got the ball.
Almost from the end of the court, he scored.
"Tch" I said and Tetsuya chuckled. "Oh, come on. His shots still piss me off, they take too long"

The first quarter ended with 20-08 for us.
"You're doing great!!" said Hyuga.
"Not bad, Sei" I said and Seijuro smiled.

I gave them all water and towels.
It was bothering me, how tired they were from one quarter...
"With this team, I didn't expect to be pushed this hard" said Kise. "To be honest, I'm surprised"
