Author's Note: Howdy folks! Its been a minute since my last update and I do apologize. I had some family stuff going on and hadn't had as much time or energy to write. That said, I'm glad to be getting this next chapter out and I hope you all enjoy it!

Please note, this chapter contains discussions of injury recovery. Its nothing horribly graphic but if hearing about that kinda stuff bothers you, please proceed with caution!

"Have I ever told you about the girl I like?" a groggy Terra mumbled through closed eyes, leg in fresh plaster coming out of their 5th surgery.

"No, I don't think you have," Eda chuckled, face clad with a shit-eating grin. "Why don't you tell me about her?"

"Seriously, Edalyn?" Lilith mumbled from her seat across the room, reviewing the care instructions the healers had provided her to assist in Terra's recovery.

"She's just like... so pretty," Terra began, drunken words flowing freely from a mind under the influence of a heavy dose of painkillers.

"Oh yeah?" Eda snorted, "Like how pretty?"

"Like, SO pretty," Terra insisted.

"So pretty, huh? Interesting... So on a scale of one to ten, how pre-"

"Edalyn!" Lilith's shrill yell interrupted.

"She's like a 500 easy," Terra beamed, hazy eyes meeting those of her friend who laughed in hysterics. "Like, she's just got these eyes that are like, damn! And this big ol head of curly red hair that's like, wow! She's just..."

"So pretty?" Eda cackled, tear filled eyes catching the flustered, beet-red face of her sister as she glanced over.

"Yeah!! How did you know?" Terra exclaimed, shooting up in bed and wincing in the process.

"Hey, hey," Lilith frowned, gently grasping Terra's shoulders as she leaned the demon witch back in bed after having bolted across the room. "You need to take it easy before you hurt yourself.

"Oh my Titan," Terra mumbled in shock, saucer sized eyes glancing up at the red head leaning over her. "Pst, Eda," Terra whispered unsuccessfully as she turned to her friend.

"Yes, Terra?" Eda smirked, choking back another bout of laughter.

"She's here!" Terra squealed quietly in excitement, discreetly ushering to Lilith - or so she thought.

"Where? I don't see a 500..."

"EDALYN!" Lilith roared.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Sheesh, don't have a cow," Eda snickered before whispering to her love-struck, bedridden friend, "Hey Terra, why don't you say 'hi' to her?"

"Good idea," Terra nodded solemnly.

Looking to Lilith, an aura of giddiness betrayed Terra's attempt at suave confidence. "H... hey there, Lils," Terra, now a jumbled mess, stuttered. "Wh... what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see you, silly," the red headed witch's face softened, as she shook her head lightly in amusement.

"Really? Me?" the inebriated demon witch beamed. "That is so sweet... Pst, Eda," Terra whispered at the volume of a shout. "Isn't that sweet? Man, I told you she was pretty."

"You sure did," Eda doubled over, slapping her sister on the back who grumbled in return. "Maybe you should tell her that, you think?"

"No..." Terra said after a moment. "She doesn't like me like I like her," the demon witch frowned.
