Sapnap was so glad for being this flexible. Otherwise, Quackity's fall wouldn't have ended well. He had to be thankful for his training.

Speaking of Quackity, the boy now was unconscious, softly leaning into Sapnap's arms.

Even when the taller male was still in quite the shock, he managed to clear his mind and decided on how to take care of this "situation".

Firstly, Sapnap carefully changed the position of the male, by picking him up in a bridal style. His arms held both Quackity's back and legs.

Then he turned around, and started walking back to his car, slowly as to not disturb the boy.

As Sapnap's hair moved with every step he took, his mind started to be clouded again.

So many questions appeared immediately.

'Why was Quackity so scared and bruised?'

'Why did he apologize so many times?'

'Why am I so worried about him?'

Still, no answers.

Did Quackity reveal something about their mafia? Or was it because of something else? And if so, then what made him so miserable?

Sapnap groaned at the lack of knowledge he had.

He finally arrived to his car and shook his head. This wasn't the appropriate time for overthinking. He had to take care of Quackity.

Sapnap softly opened the back door of his car and leaned in, carefully putting the fragile male in the backseat of his car.

After that, he tried to leave, but he felt a grab on his hand.

The previously passed out boy, was now awake, looking at Sapnap.

"Please don't leave." Quackity whimpered, obviously still scared after whatever has happened to him.

Sapnap was...confused.

He never ever saw this side of Quackity. Sure, he had only known him for a few days, and their relations weren't on the best level, but the smaller male always seemed so...confident, independent.

That was the same person that now was sitting in front of him, beaten up and powerless.

Sapnap never excepted the same guy he was in a conflict with to be so...vulnerable.

Was he just trying to seem powerful? Sapnap wouldn't be surprised, since you won't live too long in a mafia while being weak.

Sapnap unclouded his mind and, without hesitation, sat beside Quackity, closing the door.

It was like an instinct for him to help the other boy.

He was so glad that he parked in a safe place, because sleeping in a public parking lot while having a status of a mafia member wasn't the best of an idea.

As Sapnap locked his car with a key, Quackity got himself comfortable, laying his head on the other's male shoulder.

Sapnap blushed at the close contact.

He looked at Quackity, and realized he was already asleep.

'That was quick' Sapnap thought, smiling softly.

Somehow, the sight of the asleep boy, filled him with joy.

Sapnap now had time to think, and one of the questions stuck out to him.

'Why am I so worried about him?'

The taller boy didn't have a good relationship with Quackity to begin with. Sure, maybe they slept together, but Sapnap thought of it as a no meaning, just a drunk, one-night fling. I mean, they haven't even known who they were back then.

Sapnap wasn't good with feelings, either. He didn't like speaking about them to anyone, other than Dream, but it still wasn't often.

Being abandoned by his biological parents at a very young age didn't help either, in fact, Sapnap kept his feelings to himself for a long time after that. Thankfully, Bad and Skeppy managed to help him and found people that little Sapnap could connect with. He was only loyal to the people he was close with.

But right now, Sapnap was worried about someone he thought he would never even feel upset about. It felt weird to him.

His eyes returned to Quackity.

'Am I really about to help this idiot?' Sapnap scoffed, but a smile still graced his lips.

He suddenly took out his phone and unlocked it. He searched for Dream's contact and texted him:
'Sorry Dream, but I won't be home tonight. Quackity is fine, and we are going to sleep in my car, I will tell you why tomorrow. Goodnight.'

Sent.

Sapnap sighed as he put his phone away, clearly tired.

After that, his hand traveled into the black hair of the other boy, petting him gently. In reply, Quackity hummed in his sleep, enjoying the sweet gesture.

Then, Sapnap took out his hand and slowly laid his head on Quackity's head, nuzzling into the soft dark hair.

As the darkness of night swallowed the city, both of the boys fell asleep, content of each other's touch.
