Y/N's P.O.V

"8 months. 8 months without him," you thought to yourself. Your boyfriend of three years was once again on tour with the rest of Bring me the Horizon, and he wouldn't be home for another month now!

He was supposed to come back tomorrow, but he called earlier stating how the tour got extended. You were both really upset, but thats his job and you knew when you started dating him that this would happen. You didn't like it, but you had to put up with it.

Your phone suddenly vibrated, pulling you out of your sad thoughts. You look down at your screen to see you had gotten a text from your best friend, Y/B/F/N.

7:30 PM
Y/B/F/N: Hey come meet me at the lake near the park! I need to show you something really important!

7:31 PM
Y/N: ok i'll be there soon. I just have to put some makeup on.

7:31 PM
Y/B/F/N: Okay. Be quick lovie! Love ya doll!

You quickly locked your phone and slinked over to your closet. You grabbed a black tank top, a sweater, and a pair of ripped black jeans. You slid them on to your body fast before grabbing a pair of socks and some black CHUCKS, slipping them on, and ran to your bathroom.

You scrambled to turn on your curling wand while finding your makeup. You were rushing since you didn't like to make people wait, feeling it would annoy them.

You quickly applied some light makeup, consisting of brown eyeshadows with a winged eyeliner and a light pink matte lipgloss.

Your hair wand beeped, indicating that it was heated. You quickly curled your hair into loose rings before shaking them slightly to look more natural.

To get ready it surprisingly only took you 45 minutes. You texted your friend that you were on your way and hopped in your car. The park was only a 5 minute drive, but the walk to the lake took another 5 minutes.

You arived and the park and quickly started to jog to the beach. You saw Y/B/F/N and ran up to her.

"Hey what do you want to show me thats so important?" You asked getting curious.

"Its a surprise! C'mon!" Y/B/F/N said pushong you towards where the lake was.

You kept walking, but you suddenly felt lonely. You turned around to see your best friend was no where in sight. She probably ran ahead to scare me, you thought. With a shrug of your shoulders, you kept walking.

When you got to the beach, you were shocked at what was there. Fairy lights were set up everywhere, your favourite album, if your life was a movie this would be your soundtrack by sleeping with sirens, was playing in the background, and in the middle of it all was the love of your life.

"Lee," you said in shock, it coming out just above a whisper. Tears welled up in your eyes as you started to walk towards him. Walking turned into speed walking, which turned into running, until finally you were being held in the arms of your boyfriend.

"God I missed you," he whispered into your hair.

"I thought you weren't coming home for another month," you mumbled into his chest as you hugged eachother tighter.

"Surprise! Thank Y/B/F/N for helping me set this up as well," he said back to you quietly. You chuckled.

"Great shes/hes gonna make me buy food for him/her now," you said in a happy tone. Lee chuckled before pulling away slightly.

You looked into eachothers eyes for a few moments before slowly leaning in. You, being impatient from waiting 8 months to kiss him again, grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him forwards, smashimg your lips onto his. He was slightly shocked by your eagerness, but quickly kissed back with just as much force.

After your little makeout session, your favourite song, roger rabbit, came on.

"Care to dance with me love?" Lee asked with an adorable smile.

"Of course I would," you said smiling. You layed your head on Lee's shoulder as you both lightly swayed back and forth. Every once and a while, Lee would whisper sweet nothings into your ear or kiss your head lightly before whispering and 'I love you' into your ear which you always said back.

That night, after you two left the beach, was filled with cuddles and Lee telling stories about the tour, you two both finally falling asleep in the early hours of the morning.
