"Les, you and Cal are on in five minutes." Liv informs as she walks inside the dressing room I was in, preparing for the interview Calum and I are having in a while. I was kind of nervous because I expect the interviewer to ask me and Calum some personal questions regarding our relationship, the one we're basically faking.

I sat there, looking at my reflection in the mirror. About last night, when Calum was over at my place, we hadn't done much, we just made tacos for dinner, watched another movie, then Calum had to go to Luke's for a small get together, he wanted me to go with him but I kindly rejected his offer and decided to stay home. He looked like he had fun though despite the fact that he sent me messages that clearly showed he sent them while he was drunk out of his mind.

"You good, Les?" Liv asks, taking a seat next to me as I just nodded in response. "Heard Calum was at your place last night." She says, giving me a soft smile.

"Eh, not that big of a deal though, I just invited him over and all." I said, shrugging. "I'm glad you guys are getting along."

"How'd you know?" I asked, wondering how she knew Calum was at my place. "Let's just say I overheard him and Luke talking. Told Luke he was glad you invited him over." she responded. "Anyways, it's time to go. Good luck to you and Cal, Les." she says, as we both stood up, letting me exit the room first. I stood in the hallway for a bit, until I caught a glimpse of Calum's tall figure, his back was facing me as he leaned on the wall, his eyes glued to his phone. I neared him, I could tell he knew I was coming since he looked up from his phone and slowly turned around, giving me the warmest smile he could possibly put on. "You look amazing." He says, not gonna lie, what he said kind of made my heart jump.

Just before I could say something, our names were called, indicating that the interview was now starting. We looked at each other as Calum slowly intertwined his hands with mine and nodded at me. I show him a small smile and wrapped my other arm around his tattooed arm as we walked on to the set, taking out seats.

A few minutes into the interview, it was actually going well. The interviewer just asked us pretty basic questions like, what our daily essentials were, things we can't live without, and all that, until he hit us with this question, "what's the most valuable thing you have right now?"

Calum let out a light giggle as I watch him take out his wallet, as he fumbles through it like he was trying to find something in it. "There's actually this picture from eleven years ago," He then takes out a Polaroid picture. Suddenly, I'm intrigued to know what this picture was as I leaned in closer to Calum, taking a look at the picture he's holding.

It was a picture of the both of us, I was sitting on a stool next to him, a smile was plastered across my face while I gazed at Calum in awe as he sat on the floor, his bass sitting on his lap, fingers resting lazily on the strings but his attention was fixated on the instrument. Vinyls, albums of his favorite bands, along with  papers he wrote his lyrics on were scattered all around the floor but we didn't seem bothered by it, as long as he had his beloved bass on his lap. I remember the moment so well. The sound of his bass along with the melody of his voice, jazz music playing softly in the background as I just watched the busy boy right in front of me.

"No fucking way." I blurted out, I was very surprised he still had that picture after eleven years. I've forgotten about the picture already and I kind of expected Calum to lose it but there it was, sitting in his wallet all along.

He shows the camera the picture since the interviewer was only asking questions behind the camera. Not gonna lie, the picture was actually really cute. "We were writing our songs and I brought Celestia along cause my clingy ass couldn't survive a day without her." He snickered.
