Together, the Pillars would band together to protect all of Equestria from evil or harm that came its way, but sadly, when an ally of the Pillars: Stygian, became possessed by an evil spirit who consumes negativity, he defeated the pillars and made them vanish out of thin air.
After that, Solaria, along with the other guardians of Equestria, became imprisoned by some soldiers who were followers of the demon, they also dictated the Moonstone Mountains until it became a crumbling society, the villagers couldn't buy enough food because the soldiers would take most of it for themselves and would order them night and day to find them treasure hidden inside the mountain.
So as Equestria startled to crumble without the pillars, the ruler of Equestria: Princess Celestia, had no other choice but to have some of her strongest students go to each empire and restore it back to its former glory, one of those strongest students, was Twilight Sparkle, she was tasked to restore the Moonstone Mountains.
She noticed Solaria imprisoned, so she quietly set her free, unfortunately, she was caught by the corrupted soldiers, Twilight had to fight them off with her magic in order to protect Solaria, with some hand to hand combat, and some magic spells that taught her, she was able to free Solaria and guide her back to the village of the Moonstone Mountains.
Twilight promised that she will restore the kingdom to its former glory, so Solaria gave her the Geode Of Magic, where she would gain more skills in magic. So Twilight held onto the geode and became the Sorceress and ruler of the Moonstone Mountains.
