Corbyn's POV

I woke up at nearly 3 am to the sound soft sobs. I jolted up immediately. 

"What happened, Rose?" I hugged her letting her crying into my chest. 

"He-he was s-so- close-" She sobbed out unable to complete her sentence. 

Oh so it was her father again.. 

"Say no more, love. Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. I won't let him touch you. You're with me, you're safe" 

I spoke sweet and soothing words into her ear hoping that she would calm down. 

"I'm a-afraid Corbyn.. W-what if h-he-" 

"He'll have to walk over my dead body to even come near you. Don't worry, princess. I'll keep you safe" 

After what felt like an eternity, she calmed down but she didn't let go off me which made me smile. 

"Let's go to sleep, Rose. We need to wake up early morning" 

"But Corbyn, it's already 4:30 am. I need to study before going for the clinicals" 

"But love-" 

"Corbyn, I didn't study for past few days. I need to start focusing more now" she murmured against my chest. 

"Fine. But at least we can cuddle before it's the time?" 

" Fine by me" She looked up and smiled at me. She has the world's most beautiful smile. Oh how I could keep staring at her for my whole life- What did you just say, you dimwit?! I can't be already falling for her, can I? 

We laid and cuddled. Having her in my arms is the best feeling. 

"Corbyn, I'm sorry" She spoke breaking the comfortable silence. 

"What are you sorry for, princess?" What could it be possibly for? 

"As soon as I entered your life you've been facing a lot of problems." Is she serious?

"And what exactly did I face?" 

"Firstly, your and the boys friendship with Jack has gone downhill *this made me roll my eyes internally* and in the start you had to face the fans' thoughts on our relationship. Lastly, as if all of this was not enough, my family issues-" 

"Okay, now get this straight in your head. Any problem of yours, is a problem of mine. And it's not like you are getting to live your dream life after you came here. You had to tolerate Jack's hatred, which made you face my anger issues. You have a lot of study to do, you always are living up to our standards, and above all, those deeds of your father keep haunting you in your dreams.. Do you think that only I'm the one facing troubles? Do you think that your life is as easy as fairytale?? No Zar, not to be rude or something but your life is far more messed up compared to mine! 

Do you really think I'm that kind of person who just thinks about himself? Rose, I really do care about you. You need to understand that you are very important to me! I know this started with a deal but trust me when I say that you mean a lot to me!! You've changed me for better.. I can feel that. So, stop considering yourself as burden. Please..." 

In response, she kissed me. Oh, what I'd do to have my lips attached to hers forever...

"Thank you Corbyn!!" She hugged me tight making me wrap my arms around her as a reflex. 

"Ok, now I seriously need to go study" 

"Okay, fine but you'll have to make it up for lack of kisses once you get back from the hospital. Go, I'll get you some coffee" I said just to be given a peck on my lips after this.
