Zara's POV

I didn't bother informing that I'm home. Lately, he just replies with a hmm or nothing. He's always busy on the phone texting someone. And I didn't need to check his phone to know it's Lera. I gave up long ago. Right after the night when we had our date. It was the last we had.

I walked towards kitchen but stopped when I saw a pair of heels by the couch. It wasn't mine for sure. Neither might've any of the girls been here without the boys. But then again, maybe they may have needed some favor or something.

I walked upstairs and towards our room. I could hear some voices whispering. And I could hear an unfamiliar voice besides corbyn's.

I turned the knob to enter "Corbyn, is there some-" I stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Third Person's POV

There he was with Lera in his lap, kissing his neck and his hand in her hair. At the sound of Zara's voice, the both stopped and turned to her with shocked faces. She didn't bother looking at Lera's face but couldn't take her eyes off Corbyn.

"I'm sorry, I should've knocked. Carry on" She said with a cold voice and walked out slamming the door behind her.

She knew he'd do this sooner or later but she didn't know actually facing it would be so hurting. Tears streamed down her cheeks. She felt a tug in her heart so strong as though it might break. She knew it was a contract, she knew it was all fake and this would've happened soon enough but she didn't know that it would hurt her so much. She didn't know that Corbyn affected her like this. And it was bad. Him having his power in her heart was bad, him doing this to her was bad and the worst of all was her such uncontrolled pain towards this.

She couldn't handle it. She needed someone. She called the first person who came to her mind while sniffing. The person picked up the call immediately.

"H-hey Jon-Jonah. P-please pick me u-up"

"Zar! What happened"

"Please" She sobbed.

"Okay okay, please calm down. I'll be right there. Don't worry, I'm coming"

On the other hand, watching her eyes fill with hurt, snapped Corbyn out of the trance. Realisation hit him like a big wave.

"Oh no. Oh no no no" He pushed Lera off his lap and stood up.

"What have I done? No, this is not right. Fuck, none of this is right" He ran his hands through his hair.

"Corbyn, calm down. Shh, she's gone. Doesn't matter" Lera spoke making him turn to her. He felt conflicted.

He couldn't deny that he did feel the lust towards Lera but he didn't lie when he had confessed that he had feelings for Zara. Zara. He couldn't loose her. Not her as well. Not in the same way he lost Christina. No. Not again. And so he ran. He ran for her. Out of the room and then he dashed down the stairs almost tripping on his way.

"Zara! Zara! Babe, please hear me out" He ran towards her but by the time he reached the front door Jonah was already taking her away. No no no. This is not right. It's so wrong.

"Corbyn! Come back here. Why did you stop? You shouldn't care about what she feels right now" Lera's voice rang through his ear. He was not even in his right mind. She came downstairs and walked in front of him.
Lera smashed her lips on Corbyn's. And he let her. He let her distract him from the storm he got himself into. But he knew now there was no turning back.

Jonah's POV

"What happened Zara?" I asked once we reached the beach.

"Zara? Please say something" she muttered something under her breath but I couldn't hear.
