I see, she's insecure, huh? Then it'll be easy to bring distance between them. Afterall it's a win win. After their break up, he can have her and I can have Corbyn. 

"You think this is gonna work? I will be able to have her?" He turned towards me.

"Yes yes, of course. She's an insecure bitch. It'll be very easy to turn them against each other. All we need is just a bit of misunderstanding! Don't worry, i promise this will work. Just don't directly show your lust towards her after this." 

"I know what I have to do. Though it's not easy to control myself but I'll manage it. I just need to be a goody goody person then I'll have, trust me. But her beauty is irresistible" 

"Well, I won't deny that. She is beautiful. After all, she's got it from you" I smirked.

He smiled wickedly in return. Oh this should be fun! 

Zara's POV

"Corbyn, I'm back!" I said after returning from the university. 

"I still think online study would've been better. I don't get to spend time with you.." he hugged me tightly. 

"No no. It's important if i study there because my theory is the foundation of my practicals. And why do you worry about yourself? You've already found someone to spend your time with.." 

"Not again Zar. I said that there's nothing going on between me and Lera. Why would you think that?" 

"When did i say anything about Lera? You saying that only confirms my suspicions" 

"Just stop it, dammit!! Do I need to say this to you in every other language that exists? Me and Lera are just friends and she's my company's model. It'll be better if you get that in your head!" He shouted at me. I stared in shock. 

"Fine. I do trust you Corbyn! It's just her whom I don't trust. I just hope I'm proved wrong." 

"Rose, I know you haven't been in any relationship before but you need to understand that in a relationship trust is everything. I need you to trust me! Can you do that?" 

"Yeah... I'll just go in the sunroom.." I said not wanting for argument to continue. 

"I'm going to Jonah's house. David has called a meeting righ row" he said and I nodded. 

Third person's POV 

Little did she know that he was lying..

Corbyn reached the restaurant and sat on the reserved table waiting.

"Hey, Corbyn!" He turned and saw Lera and smiled at her.

"Hey!" He hugged her. 

"How have you been? And what about Zara? How is she? I'm sorry I showed her our pics from the shoot but I genuinely thought that she would understand.."

"I'm fine. She's alright. And no need to say sorry, it wasn't your fault. It's just that all of this relationship thing is very new to her, I guess and she has a lot on her plate so, I think she's not able to understand. But don't worry, she'll come around soon. How are you?" 

"I'm good. I called you here because I wanted you to invite to one of my friends party. We're supposed to bring a date and I'm not comfortable enough with anyone except you. But we can go as friends, right?" 

"Of course. I don't think it would hurt to go as friends. When is the party?" 

"Tomorrow, 7 pm. Mind you, It'll take long and by that I mean beyond midnight." 

"Yeah no worries. I'll just tell Zar that we have a work at studio or something" He smiled. 

Her plan is working.. Now all she has to do is wait for tomorrow night. 

"I'm excited! Anyways, i think you should head back" 

"Nahh, I told her that David called a meeting. So i don't think heading back this soon will be a good idea. How about we go for a walk?" 

"I don't mind" She smiled. 

"Do you really like her?" She asked after a long comfortable silence prolonged  

"I mean, I do but it's kinda complicated" He answered reluctantly. 

" Oh I see. Have you thought of some other girl?" She said with a mental smirk knowing that she's already got him under her grasp. He stayed silent for a while..

"No not really. I've been busy so I don't think of anyone else but her. What I feel for her is kinda strong though" He shruged.

"I heard you have a thing for models. Is it true?"

"Yeah kind of. Like, thier proffession makes them look more attractive soo.. yeah. Though I think Zara will always be an exception."

"Always? You've started imagining her in your future as well already?" She asked curiously.

He scratched the back of neck, "ummm.. yeah"

"So you're for a commitment as serious as marriage?"

"Well, if you put it like that, to be honest, no. We both have complicated life, I don't think we'll be able to go on for long.."

"It'ok though. Let's see what future aholds for both of you." More of what I've planned for both of you. She mentally smirked. 

"I think I should go. Bye"

"Bye. See you tomorrow. Don't forget about the party"

"Yeah ok"

Zara's POV

"Hey, Jonah. It's Zara. Ain't you at the meeting?"

"What meeting?"

"You guys had a meeting with David, right?"

"Nope. In fact all we have scheduled for this week is studio work. There ain't any meeting."

"But Corbyn said you all had a meeting.."

"Trust me Zar, there isn't any meeting. Wait, I'll facetime you."

He facetimed me. I accepted. 

"See, even Daniel's here. We're both chilling."

"Oh hey, Zara!"

"Hi. Then where did Corbyn go?" I furrowed my brows. He lied to me. 

"What happened guys?" Daniel asked.

"Corbyn told me that y'all had a meeting with David and left.." 

"Don't worry. Maybe it might've been an emergency and he didn't want you to worry so he lied to you. It can be a possibilty, you know"

"I hope so.. Anyways, bye. I gotta study" And with that I went to study absentmindedly. 

Jonah's POV 

He lied to her. He better be treating her good. 

I called him. He didn't answer. I called him second time.

"Hey bro! What's up?"

"Hi! Where are you?"

"I am returning home, why?"

"From where?"

"I was with Lera. Why are you suddenly asking so many questions?"

"And what did you tell Zara about it?" No reply. 

"What did you say to Zara, Corbyn" I said sternly. 

"I-I-I lied to her" How shameless of him. I didn't know Corbyn would do something like this.

"Why?"

"Hello? Hello Jo? I can't hear you! I'll call you later" He ended the call. Such a little actor, why Corbyn, why?! Just why?!

I hope he handles this better than I am expecting, otherwise I won't let him do this to her.
