I was happy on Olympus. I grew up there. When it got attacked two years ago I was devastated. Now I was great friends with Annabeth. She really understood.
She knew I was a demigod. But she didn't know who my parent is. My dad said that I couldn't tell anyone tell the time was right.
Now I was packing my bags. I was going to Camp Half-Blood. I still couldn't believe it. I mean how could my dad do this to me?
I mean sure. He said I need a "chance at a normal life" whatever that means.
Triton didn't have to go to camp. Any way. The crew is just fixing to go to rescue Percy at the Roman camp. Of course I already knew about it.
There's not much that my dad keeps from me.
Apollo told me last night that Rachel(the oracle) had a new prophecy. The 7 was now the 8.
My dad told me that I was the eighth member. I was nervous to say the least.
My dad was going to escort me to camp boarders. That was as far as he was going to take me. I would be claimed later tonight.
Probably at the camp fire. But there was capture the flag tonight. So maybe he would claim me there.
That's how he claimed Percy. I was mostly scared about what Percy would think. If what everyone told me was true, he wouldn't be to happy to have me on the quest. For "safety" reasons.
What I was glad about was that Lord Zeus liked me. And Lady Hera. They both loved me. All of the gods love me. Even Dionysus loved me.
I'm the only demigod who's name he gets right.
I took one last look around my room. Then I walked out. The next thing I knew I was at the boarders of camp. I walked through and saw Annabeth.
"Annie!" I call. I'm the only one that can call her that. She slowly turns around ready to murder whoever had the guts to call her that. Then she sees me and her face goes slack in shock. She slowly forms her words and says,
"Addi?"
