A New Association (AOT x MHA Fanfic)

Chapter 15

(*The Next Day*)

  The homework that I was assigned was really easy, so I didn't need Armin's help. I was also done with it quickly. 

  I changed into a beige hoodie with a jade jacket. I also wore a pair of jeans and my favorite white shoes. I put my phone and wallet into my jacket pockets.

  I heard my stomach grumble for a second.

  "Man, I'm getting hungry," I said to myself. 

  I decided to go down to the common room to get something to eat. I exited my dorm room and went toward the elevator. When I called for the elevator, its doors opened and I entered it.

  While I was going down, flashbacks of my mom being eaten flooded my mind. I felt a bit scared, thinking that my classmates and fellow pro heroes would end up like her. 

 I straightened up. I could feel tears streaming down my cheeks as the thought occurred to me. 

  As the elevator door opened, I wiped away my tears so no one knows that I cried in the elevator.

  Once it was open, I exited it. I saw some of the class in the common room.

  "Yo, Eren!" I heard Kyoka call out to me.

  I looked around, and she was by the couches. 

  "Hey, Kyoka." I greeted her.

  She told me "C-call me Jiro please."

  I got embarrassed a bit, which resulted in me blushing. 

  I felt a pair of hands touch my shoulder. I heard an energetic female say behind me "You have feelings for Jiro?" 

  I turned around and saw Mina behind me. 

  "M-Mina! Where did you come from?!" I asked her in shock.

   "Oh, I came out of the opposite elevator a few seconds before you came out of yours." She replied. "By the way, were you crying? Your eyes are a bit red."

  I told her "No, I didn't." 

  Mina went in front of me and said "Okay, then."

  She added, "Also, you didn't reply to my text." 

  "What do you mean?" 

  "Check your phone, Eren." She instructed me. 

  I pulled my phone out of my pocket and turned it on. I saw 32 text notifications from Mina alone. Two of them were asking me if I was going to go out with the class, just me and the class. The rest was just Mina spamming my name.

  I felt shocked and guilty at the same time. I put my phone in my pocket again and responded with "Yeah, I can go. I have no plans." 

  "GREAT! We can go now, guys!" Mina announced. 

  "Excited as always." I heard Ejiro say. 

  Everyone got ready to go out. We then exited the dorm building.

  "Where should we go now?" Mina asked everyone.

  Ochaco suggested "What about we get some bubble tea? I know a place that serves good ones."

  I never heard of bubble tea before. Mr. Aizawa never mentioned it to me while I was learning about this world.

  I went over to Mina and whispered into her ear "What is bubble tea?"

  She had a shocked expression, and said "Have you been living under a rock? Anyways, bubble tea has milk tea in it, along with chewy things called tapioca pearls."
