Thor's eyes opened. They adjusted to see he was in his dimly lit bedroom. His hand swam across his bedsheets, checking to make sure that he was awake. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth. The parts of the dream still haunted him. He grabbed his phone on his nightstand. His phone showed it was two nineteen in the morning. He went to his contacts and found Amara. He touched the screen twice and it proceeded to call her.

There were two rings followed by a slight shuffle. "Hey,' her voice was lively.

Thor smiled."Hi. Sorry did I wake you?"

"No. It's only two nineteen. In the morning," she exclaimed. "Is this a booty call?"

Thor chuckled at her humor.

Her voice shifted to a concerned tone. "Seriously, is everything okay?"

"It's alright. I just," he sighed. "I just wanted to hear your voice."

"Aww. That's sweet."

"Sorry for waking you. I'll talk to you when the sun rises."

"Hopefully not at exactly sunrise."

He gave a soft chuckle. "Of course not."

"Okay," she snickered. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight. Love you."

Thor hung up the phone and placed it back on the nightstand. He rested back in the bed and closed his eyes. He recalled Amara's voice as he attempted to go back to sleep. Then it hit him.

His eyes opened. "Oh, shit."

...

Amara held onto her cell phone. The call was over a minute ago but she remained paralyzed as his last two words echoed in her head.

"Oh, shit," she whispered.
