Kacchan, We Were Five! \ A BakuDeku Story

5: Halloween

Not long after the Bakugous finally moved into their new home, Katsuki's infection finally had gotten better. He had also gotten his braces removed, after having them for nearly 5 years.

Izuku looked out the window, excited. Today was October 31st. His favorite day of the year. Of course, he liked Christmas, and Easter, and Valentine's day too... In short, he loved every holiday that was ever invented. But Halloween was his favorite. He loved to go out and get candy, even if he was 17. 

His friends told him he was too old, but that didn't phase him. He was Trick-Or-Treating since he was a baby! And he wasn't stopping now, just because his friends said it wasn't cool or whatever. 

The greenette ran up to his room. He had just gotten done supper, and was ready for the best night ever. The boy removed his clothes, before putting on a costume. He quickly put on his favorite Ghost costume. Since he had been wearing it since he was five, his mother had to fix it up every now and then. Therefore, the outfit had several patches and had obviously been repaired multiple times. Yet, it still looked good.

Midoriya ran downstairs, grabbing several large bags, before running out the door. 

The green haired boy was in a hurry to make it to Bakugou's house. He had somehow convinced the blonde to come with him that night, even it Katsuki thought it was ridiculous.

The small boy knocked on the door, with Mitsuki opening it, smiling. 

"Ah, Izuku. Katsuki's about to get done!" She said, letting him inside. 

Soon, the taller male came down the stairs, with a different costume than Izuku's. He had a dog-ear headband, with a large green coat. He had a tail hanging from behind his coat. 

"Come on, Kacchan!" Izuku cheered, anxious to go around the houses. 

Bakugou snickered and followed his shorter friend around, greeting people at their homes and receiving candy.

After going through several streets, Midoriya's feet started to hurt. Therefore, both boys decided to go sit in the park and relax for a bit. 

The two sat down, munching on some candy they had collected. 

"I think this is the most candy I've ever gotten!" Midoriya proudly announced, pointing at his 3 large bags, full of candy. 

Katsuki smiled at the excited boy. He was adorable. 

"Y'know... You make that lousy ghost costume look kinda cool." Katsuki said, yawning casually. 

Midoriya blushed and gently tapped the blonde's shoulder, earning a scoff. 

"Why do you take interest in me so much?" Izuku playfully asked, giggling. 

As the green haired boy giggled, Katsuki's smile faded. "Because I like you. You're sweet, nice, attractive, and you don't judge people. At first, when I walked into your house about a month ago, I thought you wouldn't like me as much as when we were kids... 'Cause of my braces. But you kept smiling at me. You didn't even mention them much." He claimed. 

Midoriya stopped laughing and looked over to the blonde, who was flushed red. 

"I love you, Deku." Bakugou finished, making Izuku flush red. 

He thought that Katsuki was only attracted to his physique... His body... He thought he was just a pervert. 

Izuku looked down, playing with his hands. 

"Come on, it's getting late." Katsuki said, after checking his phone and claiming it was past Midnight. 

Both boys walked to their homes, without talking about the confession.

Izuku turned around in bed, not being able to stop thinking about what had just happened. 

Katsuki had told him... He loved him? Maybe he misheard. They were both pretty tired, after all. 

Midoriya stuffed his face in his pillow, groaning. He was going to ask Katsuki about it sooner or later. He was sure of it. When? No idea. 

...Just had to wait for the right moment.
