"Izuku! Come down here sweetie!" Inko called, from the kitchen.
"What is it, mom?" The green haired boy asked, walking down the stairs.
"Can you set the table, please?" The woman asked, smiling softly at her son.
The 17-year-old walked over to the kitchen table, picking up 2 plates and setting them down.
"Um, honey? We'll need 5 plates tonight. We're having guests over!" Inko exclaimed, earning a confused look from the boy.
"Oh, okay. Who're we having over?" Midoriya asked, setting down a few extra plates, along with some utensils.
His mother smiled, with a scoff, making Izuku even more curious.
"Who?!" He asked again, now a little exited.
"The Bakugous! They're moving back over here! Isn't that great honey? You'll finally see Katsuki again~" His mother said, winking at him. The boy's smile faded. "...Who?" he asked.
His mother glanced at him, continuing to prepare the meal.
"You don't remember Katsuki?" the woman asked.
Izuku looked up in thought, before he remembered one of his childhood friends, that had moved away for some time now. "Oh, do you mean Kacchan?".
"Yes! Him! I heard he got really handsome too..." His mother winked.
Izuku looked down, blushing. "Mom... Stop." He spoke. "Oh, come on, everyone knows you're gay." His mother smiled. "Yeah! You told everyone after I specifically asked you not to!" Izuku argued, embarrassed.
"I don't understand why kids these days try to hide their sexualities..." Inko sighed.
"Because- Oh, just forget it." Midoriya whined, as the doorbell rang.
"Can you open that for me?" Inko asked, setting down the meal on the middle of the table. Her son obeyed and opened the door, to two adults. A blonde woman, and a brown-haired man. Behind them stood a familiar-looking boy. He was taller than Izuku, and blonde, like his mother. He had fiery red eyes that were fixed on his phone.
"Mitsuki! Masaru! Oh, I haven't seen you guys in forever! You look good- How have you been?!" Inko exclaimed, hugging both adults as they walked in. Their son followed quietly, glancing at Izuku occasionally.
The greenette kept a close eye on the attractive male, smiling at him every time he'd look over.
The blonde eventually smiled back, showing a line of braces. Unfortunately, the smile didn't last long, since the boy frowned and looked away, blushing. Was he insecure about his braces?
The two families sat down for lunch, as the parents spoke. The two kids, on the other hand, were awkwardly sitting in front of each other. Every time Katsuki would take a bite, he'd cover his mouth with his hand, hiding it. Midoriya, on the other hand, gave him a smile every once in a while.
Supper was done pretty quickly, and the adults decided to celebrate the Bakugous return by going to see a movie.
"Izuku, Katsuki, you guys wanna come?" Mitsuki asked, smiling.
Midoriya smiled at the idea, then looked back at the pile of dirty dishes on the counter. As much as he wanted to go, he knew the chore had to get done one way or another. Why not now? Besides, he didn't want to go there, and get to sit beside the other awkward and handsome boy. Also, he sort of wanted to have some alone time. Just some peace and quiet for once.
"Nah, I'll stay." The greenette said, waving at his parents.
Katsuki glanced at the freckled boy, before looking back at the adults.
"I'll stay too. You guys go have fun and catch up."
