"What are you doing?" She whispered angrily and then, she pulled her wrist away from his grip. He let out a harsh sigh and ran his fingers through his hair.

She doesn't know why she was stuck with this man. All she knows is they were being chased by men in black. She was so angry that she kicked him with her leather boots. He caught her leg and she almost fell back but he acted fast, wrapping his arm around her waist. They found themselves in an awkward position, so she pushed him away. She buttoned up her leather jacket and fished her phone out from her skirt pocket. Her eyes widened when she realized that she dropped her phone somewhere. He peeked from their spot and felt relieved when he saw no one.

"Give me your phone." She said and he raised a brow but nonetheless, he gave it to her. She dialed her number and called her own phone. They heard her ringtone and started looking around.

Her eyes glimmered when she found it near the wall post. She examined the cat keychain attached to it and then, smiled when there was no damage. She turned around and suddenly shrieked when she found a few unconscious bodies on the ground. A kick flew towards the last man in black and then, he grabbed her wrist again to run away. She doesn't know what is happening and she felt like she was about to faint. Another group of men in black arrived and blocked their way. He pulled her behind him and gritted his teeth. He thought it was just a few. He didn't expect that it would be a bunch.

"Run. Don't worry about me. Just call someone who can help you. Don't ever look back." He said and she didn't understand it at first. She held on to his arm tightly, not wanting to leave him behind.

"What? I don't want to leave you here!" She cried and he glared at her. He pushed her away and she didn't have any choice but to go. She followed what he said and called everyone she could call at that hour.

"Just because I rejected the marriage proposal?" He asked, grinning widely while preparing to fight. A black car stopped in front of them and the owner of it went out.

"This is so petty. I already explained to you that I don't love your daughter." He added and the man's jaw clenched. The older one can't accept it because he only got his only daughter.

"One of her late mother's wishes is that she should get married to the person she loves and as her husband, it is my responsibility to grant her wishes." The man said and he gestured to his people to catch him.

On the other hand, the Fifth Princess just arrived back at the Royal High. She looked around for her friends. She saw the Third Prince walking out of the premises and she ran towards him to ask for help. She started crying, trembling while feeling so worried that something might happen to the Second Prince. She tried to explain what happened but she was already hyperventilating.

"Calm down, Gia. We will call for help." He said while calling from his phone. She nodded and wiped her tears. She wasn't ready for something like that because her mind was already focused on enjoying the event.

"Let's go back where you left him." He continued and she quickly ran towards the direction of the dark narrow alleyway. He followed her but when they arrived there, they saw the Second Prince kneeling on the ground.

Blood tainted his white shirt and he has a huge wound on his head. The man was holding a metal pipe but he dropped it on the ground before leaving him alone. He grunted, feeling more blood flowing out from his wound. She called him and the last person he saw before losing consciousness was her. An ambulance quickly arrived and they brought him to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

The Second Prince's family asked for privacy, suppressing every news that will be published online and even on the newspapers and television about what happened to their only son. Once their son wakes up, they will know who did those to him. Though they already have a hunch on who it was. The doctor checked her up as well and told her to take a day or two of rest. The Third Prince gave her a drive to make sure she would arrive home safely.

"If I didn't leave him, that would not happen to him." She mumbled while in the passenger's seat. He stopped in front of the gates and it opened when the guards confirmed that it was him.

"You didn't want those to happen. You're also a victim." He said but her tears kept on falling from her eyes. The butler opened the car door when they arrived at the main doors.

"Prepare a warm bath for her. Also, make sure she will be able to have enough rest tonight until the day after tomorrow." He said to the butler and the older one nodded.

The maids helped her to get inside the mansion and her nanny quickly approached her to give her comfort. They still don't know what happened but they didn't dare to ask. She cried in her arms until no more tears left. After taking a bath, she laid down on her bed while holding onto his phone. She forgot to give it back to his family.

"I'm sorry for leaving you behind.." She mumbled before she could finally drift to the deep slumber.
