"Do you think I will feel threatened by that?" He asked, tossing the documents he just received from them over the table.
"If it is not for my daughter, I will not do this, Aoyama-san. We are humbly asking for your hand as we should not be the one to do this." The President of the Hayashi Law Firm said and the Second Prince smirked.
"Humbly asking? When you are the main reason why I stayed in the hospital for a week." He gritted his teeth, slamming his hands on the table.
He still got the bandages around his head, making his hair disheveled but he didn't care. The stitches are still painful whenever they are changing the bandages. The President's daughter was terrified by how he reacted. She tried to approach and comfort him but one of his bodyguards stopped her. She pushed him away but he didn't budge.
"What are you doing?! I just want to make sure he is alright!" She started causing a ruckus and this gave the Second Prince a headache.
"I already told you that don't bother me anymore. Why are you even here?" He asked and this made the President furious. It was not his intention to be rude but they already crossed the line.
"How dare you talk to my daughter like that?!" The older man abruptly grabbed his tie but his own daughter pushed him away while crying.
"Don't hurt him! If you didn't do this to him, he would not hate me!" She shouted at her father and the Second Prince groaned at their drama.
"Bring them out." He ordered the bodyguards and they struggled from them. The door went open and the First Prince arrived with a paper bag in his hand.
"What's that?" He asked and the younger one smiled before placing it on the table. He stood up and looked at what it was.
"Mother cooked too much food for lunch and she asked me to bring you some." The younger one answered while sitting on the couch. He called the maid to prepare it for them.
"I saw your photos with Lauren. The billboards are already up and it is all over the fashion news." He reminded him and the First Prince just nodded.
He knows that he is the silent type of person but if he will continue on keeping his problems to himself, it will just bottle up and he might explode soon. He approached him and gently patted his head. The First Prince looked up at him and smiled faintly. He badly needed that. Somehow, this eased his frustrations. He just swore to the woman he loves the most that he will fight for her.
On the other side, the Fifth Princess just walked out of the bathroom when the Fourth Prince arrived. She was wearing a bathrobe but still, she is feeling shy that she has nothing but her lingerie underneath. It is Sunday and tomorrow, she will attend classes already. He gave her a hug and she smiled gently while hugging him back. Her face turned crimson when she received a light kiss on her lips.
"I just missed you so much, Gia." He whispered and she couldn't help but to hide her face on his chest.
They heard a knock from outside and he released her from his hug before opening the door. It is the Fourth Prince's parents. She suddenly felt nervous, wondering why they were there. She greeted them first before excusing herself to wear a proper set of clothes. She went to the living room and she became more nervous because her grandparents and parents were also there. She took her seat besides her mother and gave the Fourth Prince a questioning look.
"Thank you for accepting my invitation." Her grandfather started and perhaps, she was the only one who doesn't have any ideas what they will talk about.
"We are all gathered here to talk about the upcoming engagement of the Fujiwara's only son and my dearest granddaughter." Her grandfather continued and she bit her lips lightly to stop herself from smiling like crazy.
"I would like to ask for your granddaughter's hand, Ojii-sama." The Fourth Prince bowed his head and she stared at him. She can't believe that everything will be official soon. Her mother urged her to say something.
"Ojii-sama, I would like Itsuki to be my partner in life." She said and her grandfather nodded his head. It would be her choice if she would accept the Fourth Prince's willingness to pursue her and she chose to accept it.
"Both of you are still young and we know that you will face challenges and problems but if you really love each other, you two will be able to get through all of it and stay together until the end. We are here if you need help." Her grandmother said and she smiled widely as she nodded her head.
"I will not promise to be the perfect person for her but I will do my best to give everything to her." The Fourth Prince said and she chuckled softly while looking at him.
"I want to be young again and fall in love." The Fourth Prince's mother said and the younger ones looked away from each other with their flustered faces.
"Mom, you're already married to Dad. How can you say that?" He asked and the mood lightened up as they started to plan things for the engagement party.
