Once again, the orange sun rays shone upon the young girl's face and woke her up.

"Ah, I need some curtains." She moaned as she covered her face with the covers.

All she did was lay for a few moments remembering the events of yesterday. Everything came flooding back, the conversation, the feelings, everything. Why would se feel this way, she had only just met this person! Plus, there was no guarantee she would even see them again.

As nice as this daydreaming was, she needed to get ready as she had work today.

She, eventually, got out of bed and made her way to the clothes rack that hung all of her clothes. Saph picked out a white tank top with a strawberry milk design on it, and a pink skirt that hung just above her knees. She also added a couple necklaces that varied in size and a few beaded bracelets that she would make when she was bored. She then remembered her strawberry jacket that would go well with her strawberry milk shirt. After pulling on some pink white leg warmers Sapphire went down stairs for breakfast.

She pulled out a pan and lit the hob, she got out her bread and began to make French toast. She enjoyed this before she would go to work. After having some actual strawberry milk since it seemed fitting, she pulled on her beige apron and pulled her shoulder length hair into two pigtails. Finally, after eating she grabbed her handbag and made her way to the bakery.

She walked along the gravel humming her regular tune and thinking of who might come in to the bakery today. But on her way she heard a voice, someone she recognized.

"Saph, Wait one moment please!" Mr Roddy's voice called out.

Sapphire turned around and walked over to the elderly man who was peeking out of his front door with a package in his hand.

"I wanted to thank you for helping me with the apple pie yesterday so here is a slice, then you can have it at lunch today maybe." He continued.

"Oh thank you!" She smiled happily, taking the pie from his hands.

"Oh, I almost forgot, You left your basket her yesterday when you rushed out. It'll be easier to carry that around with a basket."

"Ah, I wondered where it was this morning." She laughed, placing the pie and her handbag in the basket and thanking him again. "Well,  I have work so I should really get going, thank you so much sir." She spoke.

"No problem, have a safe trip." She replied, watching her continue to walk along the street.

Soon enough, she reached ' The Fluffy Bun's ' Bakery. There was Miss Akiyama in the window cleaning one of the tables.

"Good morning Miss, How are you?" Saph asked as she walking through the door, ringing a bell. She continued to walk over to the counter to place her things in a drawer down there.

"I'm ok thank you, but we have a slight problem." The woman answered.

"What's wrong?" Sapphire asked. She began to panic, had she done something wrong? Had someone broken in? She didn't know what to think.

"I think one of the ingredients I used for the bread was mislabeled and the date was wrong. All of the bread from that batch has gone off and the batch before that is almost out too." Miss Akiyama explained.

"That's ok Miss, we have an hour at least until teh shop opens, so by that time I'll probably have at least one batch done, I'll just make sure that I make a lot of bread today." She spoke enthusiastically. Miss Akiyama was a pessimist in some ways, so when Sapphire was around she felt a bit more positive.
