Jasper and Bab meet for the first time uuuuuuuuh

This place is reallyyyy big. A lot of the weird little thingies I've met so far are really nice!
Except for that cat!

Anyways
I'm making my way up and I find this metal cage thing???
Oooh there's someone in there!

I go through the bars and look at the sleeping creature
I guess the brightness of my flame woke it up
I backed up a little to give it some space, I'm not ready to do something bad to something that doesn't deserve it

It got up and turned to me, it let out a panicked roar and fell back, hitting it's head on the floor
I gasped and let hand out, oh god what have I done???

"Hey- uh- need help??"
It looked at me, and sort of angrily hissed at me, it was covering itself up with the sword it had
Yea- I definitely scared it-

I don't know what to do..
Arrrgh I've only been here for a bit and I'm already causing problems!!

"H-hey! I Just wanted to say hi! I don't wanna hurt you...!"
I could hear it.. it's crying..
What have I done..?

Maybe I shouldn't have just snuck up on them like that..

My flame extinguished. It usually does that when I'm upset
I looked back at it, this is more tense than it is akward..
What do I do??

It lowered it's sword, somewhat revealing itself
It seemed a little less worried but still..

".. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.."

"Rrrrhh.. raaaa.."

I watched as it shakily stood up. I managed to get a better look at it and oh my- it's really tall!

Is it because my fire is gone that it seems less scared?
In a way, I kinda hope that's the case

"Do you... Need anything?"

It let out a sort of happy noise. Yea I guess the fire did scare them. I guess I should keep my flame out around them for the time being

".. what's your name? I'm Jasper!"

"..buh.. B-Baa..BA- Ab"

"BAAaab? That's your name???"

"N-no- B..Bab!"

"Oh! Sorry"

It patted my head. Aww

I didn't know what else to do other than move onto the next one
We waved goodbye and I left
