It was the beginning of the evening, and you were buying the tickets for you and Nikolai to the amusement park. If your life only costs two tickets, you'll gladly pay.
"So, De So land was Delightful Sorbet Land after all. Why didn't you say the full name earlier!"
"Because if i said the full name, i was scared that you didn't want to go with me"
He pretended to be sad and rubbed one of his eyes to pretend he was crying. You pretended to comfort him by patting his back and that little scene made you laugh a lot.
"Today is your day Nikolai, so i'll let you choose where you want to go and i'll go with you!"
He exitedly took your hand and both of you ran towards one of the rollercoaster.
It was a stone and mountain themed rollercoaster, and there were a few parts that went inside a fake mountain, so you couldn't see the whole ride. There were a few funny decorations around it, like some giant mean-looking stone monsters, throwing rocks at each others.
The two of you went on the ride, and Nikolai was screaming like a madman with his arms in the air, and thankfully, those were screams of having fun and not terror screams.
You were now inside the mountain, in the dark. You saw a flash, probably a photography.
However, something really scared you. There weren't any screams anymore. Nor Nikolai's, nor the other strangers who were with you. Plus it's been a while since you were in the dark, so that was suspicious, because the mountain wasn't THAT big. Out of fear, you tried to touch Nikolai to see if he was there.
As you noticed the seat next to you was now empty, the light finally came back.
The whole park changed. It was now completely empty, not a single soul could be seen, and none of the attractions were the same. Even the locations of the things completely changed. You were lost, and fear grew stronger and stronger as you realized that you weren't just imaginating this.
What happened?
Slowly, the rollercoaster you were in stopped in the middle of the ride. You were in the peak of a curve, and it looked like the train was going to either go back or keep going forward. But either way, it didn't seem like there was any control on the rollercoaster anymore.
You opened your eyes wide when you realized the rail in front of you was missing a bit, and that if you go forward, you would crash. At this height, your chance of survival if you crashed were close to none.
You looked around and the ride was slowly going forward. You lifted the heavy safety in a panic, and walked on the seats, which were slowly gaining speed. You almost fell, but managed to jump out of the seats and land on the rails. As expected, the seats left the rails, and you heard a huge crashing sound. You looked down.
You usually didn't have the vertigo, but seeing the disaster on the ground from such a height made you dizzy. You almost lost balance.
You realized you were breathing really hard and on the verge of having a panic attack. You forced yourself to climb the rails, despite the fear. You needed to be on the ground.
You managed to reach a part where the rails were touching the ground, so you simply jumped out of it.
Being all alone, in such creepy amusement park, and at night, was terrifying. The only source of light was from the attractions and you could barely see where you walked.
You were trembling in fear. You wanted to go home.
You looked around. Where is the exit? You slowly started to realize how much more creepy this place was, just by looking around. All the attractions were movind despite having no passengers on.
One of the rollercoaster, not the one you just escaped, had its rails going in the direction of the sky. The train riding it was propulsed like a rocket, and wasn't on track anymore. It went at least 20 meters above the last rail that supported it, and then managed to fell back on the rails, at an amazing speed.
You definitely never saw a rollercoaster going that fast. And leave the rails! And you were pretty sure the way it stopped at the place were the passengers were suppose to get in or out of the rollercoaster would kill anyone inside because at how brutally it stopped.
The next abomination you saw was the buoy rafting. If you didn't take into account that not seeing how deep the water was because of the dark, the scary thing about this was the huge waterfall. The buoys were thrown into that waterfall. There's no way it was safe.
However, the worse nightmare of this hellish place was the ferris wheel, if you could still call THAT a ferris wheel.
Its shape was that of many wheels on top of each other. There was one wheel at the base, then on top of it two wheels; then on top of these two, four wheels, ect... it was in fact, forming a huge triangle with circles. You couldn't even see the top because at how hight it was. There were clouds and the ferris wheel was the only attraction high enough to be hidden by these clouds. You wondered how it was even built, and how the first wheel manage to support the huge weight of all the other wheels.
Although you were overcomed by horror, you were beginning to wonder and be worried about Nikolai. Where was he? As you wondered that, you saw him in the distance.
"N-Nikolai! Wait!"
Your voice cracked and you ran after him He was going inside a balloon house.
