❝Where are you, Elise? Let's take a break, mommy is tired. ❞You called for your daughter who was hiding from you.

You sigh at the silence you're met with and begin to search for the naughty child. However, you see something crawling at your feet and shout as loud as you could, noticing the snake.

You turn around only to meet a tree and fall back, hitting your head on a rock.

You hear your daughter shout and then see your husband rushing outside scared.

The next time you wake up, you look around the room you were in as memories hit your mind like a train and your eyes widen in horror.

The good life you've had in the past years with your husband, Robin, and your four year old daughter, Elise, was nothing but a lie.

You've been deceived by that monster.

How you wished to run to him and scream and hit him, but you stop yourself, thinking rationally.

❝He kidnapped me before... he can do it again. I barely managed to escape that time, only to get hit by a drunk driver and lose my memories. Of course that freak chose to deceive me and trap me in a marriage! How atrocious he is! ❞  You think gritting your teeth.

As soon as you hear the door opening you change your expression into a tired one.

❝Seems like you're awake, dearest. Me and Elise were so scared. ❞Robin said hugging you tight.

In that moment you decide you'll take revenge for everything he done, but you need to play your cards right to achieve that.

❝I'm sorry to worry you, darling. I was frightened by the snake and managed to hurt myself. ❞You said pitifully.

❝That snake won't be a problem anymore. I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself more. How are you feeling? Any pain in your head? ❞Robin asked worried.

❝None. Just hungry. Where is Elise? ❞ You ask looking in his eyes.

❝She's drawing in the kitchen. Food is ready, dearest. Do you want it here? ❞Robin asked caressing your cheek lovingly.

❝Hmm, yes, please. ❞You say smiling.

Robin kissed you quick before rushing to get your food.

❝I wasn't an inspiring actress for nothing. Just you wait, freak. ❞  You grin internally and continue to act like nothing happened around him and Elise.

When Robin left for work, you sat outside, in your yard, thinking about a plan. You could try to escape as his guard is down since you've lost your memories, but he'll find you eventually.

You'll need help for this, help from someone who can compete with a crazy man. But who? You don't have anymore friends since living with this freak. He allows you out, but not to talk to others besides him and Elise.

The next day, you ask Robin if you could take Elise to the park and he agrees. You were now sitting on a bench looking at the girl who was on the slide.

❝(Y/n)? ❞You hear a male voice ask.

You turn around and freeze when you see Nathan, one of your friends from highschool. You cover your mouth in sock and prepare to say something when you remember the microphone that bastard put in your bag so he could hear what and who you talking to.

❝(Y/n)? ❞Nathan asked looking confused at you.

❝I'm sorry, I don't know you. ❞ You lie and hold raise your head, showing Nathan a signal you and your friends had when you were in highschool that meant something is wrong.

Nathan recognized the signal and knew you can't talk freely for some reason.

❝I must be wrong then. I'm sorry for disturbing. ❞Nathaniel said sitting next to you.

He took his phone out, opening the notepad and handing the phone to you secretly.

You take the phone and quickly write your situation down, giving the phone back. Nathaniel's face grimaced in disgust. He aggressively typed something before giving you the phone.

"How can I help?" the text read.

"I'm not sure, he's crazy. I think he will go as far as murder." You type down and give him the phone.

He scoffed quietly and typed a reply, giving you the phone.

"No worries. I can handle it, I've become quite successful in the past years, even now, I have bodyguards hidden around." You read and smile.

"I'll use your help then, but it's hard to talk to you as this bastard has microphones on me."

"I'll be at this park everyday from 10 to 12, we'll continue using my phone to comunicate." Nathan wrote and gave you the phone.

You nodd your head and your daughter runs to you.

❝Mommy, I'm thirsty. ❞Elise said getting in your lap.

You take her water bottle from your bag and hand it to her.

❝Drink slowly so you won't choke. ❞You say smiling.

Nathan left quietly and you look at this back, hoping he'll be able to save you.

I leave hesitant, angry to find an old friend in such a disturbing situation. I knew it was weird that she married and had a kid when her dream was to become an actress and travel around the globe. It seems like my suspicions weren't baseless after all. That freak was weird since highschool, he would always follow us around and look at her with that crazed look on his face.

I have to save her from him.

I look at my album filled with pictures of (Y/n) as I wait for her to return. I've heard the encounter she had and I recognized the voice as Nathan, a pest that stood in my way in highschool. I should have killed him back then, but luckily my lovely (Y/n) doesn't remember him. How hurt must he feel.

I laugh thinking about ways I could dispose of Nathan if he tries to take my (Y/n) away from me.
