Grace (Mama) POV:

I was a little bit hesitant to let Clara sleep in her new room last night by herself, but it turns out there was nothing to worry about. For the first time in a while she slept through the night. Maybe she was exhausted from traveling or maybe it was just the new environment, but she slept like a rock.

Now, it's six in the morning and I have to go wake my babygirl up. It's going to be a long day today with the Queen and King's announcement of Clara becoming the princess.

First, there's all the press we'll have to deal with after the announcement, then Clara's expected to be crowned, and finally she'll have to go through a full photo shoot with the King and Queen. I have no idea how she's going to make it through the day, especially because there's no time for a nap in that schedule.

Throwing the blanket off my body, I make my way into Clara's room. It's quite like the one she has at home but the details are more extravagant, and the furniture is gray instead of white.

Light is shining through the large windows so I don't bother turning on the light. Clara's sleeping on her back with her arms up by her head. There's a pacifier bobbing in her mouth and her eyelashes are fluttering as she dreams.

I walk over to her and gently start to rub her tummy. "Clara, it's time to wake up." I whisper softly.

Clara slowly opens her eyes after a little bit more coaxing and smiles up at me from behind her pacifier. "Mama!" She giggles.

I got my happy girl today! Usually when she wakes up she's quiet and sleepy, or even grumpy, but today I got my happy girl.

Picking Clara up from the crib, I hold her to my chest and give her kisses all over her face. "Did you have a good sleep?" I ask.

"Mama, Gwammy?" Clara asks, of course she would want Arabella first thing in the morning.

I lay Clara down on the changing table and quickly get to work changing her diaper. Clara's wiggling around, impatient because I'm not answering her question. "Grammy will come see you in a little bit. Let's have some milky and then we can see her." I reply, picking her up and moving to the rocking chair.

Sitting down, I lift up my shirt so Clara can latch onto my breast. I slowly rock us back and forth with she nurses. Clara plays with her fingers while she slowly sucks, staring out the window as she does. "What are you looking at, princess?" I ask.

I look out the window as well, there's nothing interesting besides snow. That's when I realize Clara's never seen snow before. She's looking at her first snowfall. "That's snow, babygirl. It's really cold and slippery, but it's fun to play in." I tell Clara.

She smiles up at me and points to the window with her finger. "We'll go outside later. Finish your breakfast so we can go find Grammy and Grandpa." Clara continues to watch the snowfall until she finishes nursing.

After I put my shirt back down, I carry Clara down the hall and stop in front of Arabella and Geoff's door. I'm about to knock when the door is pulled open. Arabella stands there in a nightgown with messy, red hair. She has a frown on her face but it changes into a smile when she sees Clara. "My princess!" Arabella exclaims as she pulls Clara out of my arms.

"Good morning, Arabella." I say with a smile.

"Good morning, Grace." Arabella replies after giving Clara about twenty kisses.
