To be completely honest with you Nizhny Novgorod was beautiful but that was not the point i had a base to deal with and fuck it was big. I was on the roof looking over the view, hot dam,no stop . Who cares about the view when there was no one to share it with, you were here to avenge nat's death just like you should have to begin with. There was a door that opened to a stairwell to go inside you were just waiting for it to be clear. I had hacked into the security cameras so i had a pretty good sense of where to go and a lay out of everything. I had been watching the base for the past 2 and a half weeks seeing when the guards changed stations how often they had shipments and missions or whatever they called it. I noticed that between night and day shift there is a 15 time period from when night got here to when they actually got into their stations they normally just hung out in what i could only presume was a staff room weird right a staff room on hydra guess they gotta give their staff breaks even if they all criminal sons of bitches. It was always from 7-7:15 everyday without missing a beat at the moment the day guards were leaving and the nights were making their way into the room i had 3 more minutes.
Once they all got in and made sure no one was in the security room i made my way inside and quickly looked around doing it as quick as possible so i wouldn't get caught again bc jeez that still hurt and I was pretty sure it was infected. Bc it was kinda purpley greenish colour but yolo am i right nvm back to business. I hadn't found them and my 15 minutes were almost up. Once i was inside the security room i would be able to get out through a grate unnoticed so i made my way over. I got into the computer and set up the self distruct and hacked it so it would inform anyone else in the building or else people would be free and we don't want that. I clicked go and climbed out the roof and made my way up a hill to watch the pretty colours aka hydra burning to the mf ground. I would say that was a very good mission good job y/n let's get these mother truckers show them who's boss.
1 year later
In the past year i have been all around the world and having the time of my life and we'll blowing up all the hydra basses. I had conquered most of Europe but decided to take a break and go see the avengers in America and hit up some basses there. I was only going to see them bc they would not stop calling me and hitting up my phone i don't even know how they keep getting the number i get a new burner like every two weeks but whatever. I was on my bike parking outside the tower it seemed bigger than before but who knows. I made my way inside and saw Steve "hey man long time no see" this man looked at me like i was crazy "Steve man it's me y/n it hasn't been that long come on" he took a second but then smiled and hugged "shit y/n i didn't recognize you, you look different hey come with me please we have something we have to show you it's really important" as he said that my phone went off with a hydra base 20 minutes into the country and I knew just how to get this one "hey Steve i would love to but i have somewhere probably more important to be right now but i will come back when I'm done i promise k bye" i started to to run but he grabbed my hand "no y/n this is definitely more important" i shoved his hand off and ran off yelling at him behind me "no Steve I'm serious i will be back good bye". I ran to my bike put the address into the GPS and sped off. All the American bases were literally the same maybe flipped which tbh was hella stupid so it would be a quick in and out checking the rooms and pressing the self distruct button. I made it inside into a room finding nothing i went into the room and saw and went into the computer and expected the normal button but then there was another one i clicked it and saw it would self distruct all the other bases this must be the main hydra base i had heard of it but thought it was a rumour but i had to take my shot so i clicked it and had 5 minutes to get out so i set a timer. I left and heard some noise so i went into the room and there they were sitting plain as day they look a little different but it was definitely them. After i saw them i went ballistic i saw red and forgot to stay ingognito. I started yelling and charged "hey assholes you killed my girl and now imma kill you got it" they both turn around with their guns but before they could shoot i shot them both multiple times and thought j was good but as i turned around i was tackled to the ground by another agent. He starts to choke me out and I'm trying to fight him off but he is too strong when all of a sudden my timer goes off and this time i literally see red. The man is thrown off me and I try and run but get knocked down by the force of the explosion and I black out. When I woke up i was covered in rubble and I could feel my leg felt like it was shot which was now I'm realizing was from Janet or Jeff it just didn't register with the adrenaline i tried to get up but stuff was crushing me. I kept trying to push it off and finally got it. I got up and pushed my way out of the building passing all the dead bodies limping out. I walked across the field passing burning debris making it over to my bike getting on and attempting to ride away. I had to stop several times bc of the pain in my legs from being crushed and the bullet. I finally made it back to the tower and got into the the elevator making it up and the doors opened i saw familiar red hair and the world went black.

-Nat pov-
They told me y/n was coming back today and that i could finally see her they never told me what happened but they told me i couldn't see her yet. Steve had went down to wait for her but came back saying she ran out fast when she got a notification on her phone. What has she been up to this past year and a half. She said she would be back soon so we decided to just sit get caught up since everyone but fury. It had been a couple hours and I was starting to get worried but no one seemed to notice i was about to ask if anyone knows where she is when the elevator opened and there she was covered in blood and soot and then she collapsed. I ran toward her checking for a pulse while the rest of the team followed. I started to freak out carrying her down to the Medbay where Bruce was. "When did she turn up what happened jeez when did she get shot there it is very infected dam she should have came back" i stopped moving and stared at him "wth do you mean she should have came back and when did she turn back up what are you talking about" he kept checking her out cleaning her wound and trying to stitch up the bullet wound on her leg "she left a couple months after you so called died to find your old neighbors that turned her back into their hydra puppet and hurt you she just left a note and went off we have been following her as she blows up each base and I'm pretty sure she found the big button becuaee there was just a worldwide blow up all around the world." I just stood there in shocked walked out to the rest of the team and lost it " wtf why would you guys let her risk her life like that when you knew where she was she could have died and no one would be there with her i would have lost her assholes" they all just stood there and Steve spoke up " we only knew where she was because of the blow ups and then once we got there she would be gone we tried to find her and anyways she probably wouldn't care if she died bc she thought she would be able to see you again" that's when the guilt hit me i know fury told me i had to pretend to die and I couldn't tell anyone but he never told me that y/n went awol trying to pretty much avenge me. I just walked away and went back down into the room Bruce had put her leg in a cast, stittched up the other bullet wound and put something on the one on her shoulder to try and fix the infection. "I have gotten her as patched up as i can she is still asleep as you can see but you can sit with her untill she wakes up I'm sure she will be delighted to see you. So that's what I did i sat there and held her hand watching her sleep even though she was still covered in soot and blood she was just as beautiful as ever and I couldn't wait for her to wake up. But what if she had moved on what if she didn't want me anymore because i lied to her. What if she didn't love me anymore?

My eyes felt heavy and so did my whole body the worse were my legs and shoulder. I opened my eyes and saw red hair. Oh no i died what about the team what'd gonna happen but i get to see nat again. I tried to speak but nothing came out that's when she opened her eyes looking around not seeing me awake at first. I realized she was holding my hand so i moved my fingers. She looked over at me in surprised and her eyes teared up she tried to say something but i finally found my words "nat oh I've missed you it sucks that I'm dead but oh boy I've missed you I'm so sorry that i killed you i didn't know what i was doing and um" i was bawling at that point and she came and gave me a hug "hey hey baby baby it's ok you aren't dead you are alive you also didn't kill me fury hid me and told me i wasn't allowed to contact anyone for my safety I'm so sorry i should have told you" i looked at her confused "what what are you talking about you gave been alive the whole time and um why did he not let you tell me was it because he was scared of me or thought me a threat" she held me close "i don't know why he made me fake my death but it wasn't about you it was probably to do with hydra and I totally understand if you um don't want me anymore but I've missed you so much and" as she was saying that i grabbed her face and kissed her hard in the mouth. After i realized what i did i pulled back blushing "I'm really sorry but i have missed you so much too and I really love you and I thought i killed you and um" she shut me up by kissing me back "oh baby I love you so much I promise now that we are both alive and well we can maybe start on the right path start a life together only if you want to" she said this with a rush and I had a huge smile on my face "i would love that nat we can start a life away from the avengers maybe and just live a happy care free life" she smilled and gave me a huge kiss and did exactly that lived happily ever after or as happily ever after as you can with two ex assassin's.
