"sorry abou-"

"shut your mouth," george snapped, "i'm not going to listen to a fucking word from you."

dream scoffed, "oh, c'mon, now. you haven't given me a chance."

george stopped in his tracks. they were just outside the entrance to the castle. he turned around and faced dream, "i won't be giving anyone who hurt them a chance! you hurt them!"

"the l'manburgians?! those assholes?!" dream laughed, "you're insane."

"you hurt them," george said, "who's to say you wouldn't hurt someone else, you asshole!"

george turned himself around and marched himself into the castle. dream strides behind him at a quick pace, "you know, theres two sides to every story. l'manburg wasn't all that important!"

"it was important to them!" yelled george.

"then why the hell do you care?!"

george was fuming, "why the hell is your kingdom full of absolute fuckers?!"

dream shook his head with a laugh, slowly walking in front of george. he looked down upon him, "funny how you can see yourself in other people."

"what?" george growled, "i'm not some idiot like you and your family."

a faint sigh, "that really is all royalty is about, huh?"

dream and george snapped their heads towards a window. drista sat on the windowsill in more comfortable looking clothes than her armor, "fighting? that's really all it is."

"no," george said, "no, i'm sorry- drista, was it?"

the girl nodded.

george walked across the hall to her, "i'm sorry. you really shouldn't use me as an example of royalty, i'm... i'm not-"

"george davidson, you absolute-" a loud voice became present in the hallway. those were sapnap's footsteps, that was for sure.

sapnap groaned, "you just- you just couldn't do one thing for me?! you couldn't just act civil?!"

"i don't have to listen to you, sapnap!" george shouted back.

"and look at you!" sapnap laughed, upset, "tried to tell a little girl fighting wasn't royalty and here you stand seconds afterward!"

"because of you!"

sapnap rolled his eyes, "it's always me, isn't it, george?! isn't it!"

george shit his head back at the yelling, "you'll always be a bitch, sapnap. you'll never mean anything to me!"

"what's wro- oh, for the love of-" karl entered the hallway, "stop fighting with him, george!"

george huffed, and turned around to face his brother, "i hate you."

he turned back to sapnap, "i hate all of you!"

"then leave!" karl shouted.

"gladly!"

and with that, george stormed his way towards the grand staircase that would take him to his room. he slammed his door and pulled at his hair. crying and crying tears of pure rage and disappointment. he only had himself to blame for the constant reminders of how unworthy he was in this place.

although tears blurred his eyes he made his way over to his balcony to get some fresh air. it never helped, but it felt like freedom sometimes.

he sat there until he would stop crying, which varied depending on the day.
