Happy Birthday Daddy

Pablo:

Thank you for today. I love you. Night baby.

He smiled widely as he read Pablo's text. He wanted to hear his voice before going to sleep but opted not to call. He doesn't want to be too clingy nor needy. Besides they were together only hours earlier. Well, not 'together' together as they were with family and friends, but the stolen glances, secret smiles and the gentle touches they shared - especially that secret rendezvous - was enough to last the day. And judging by the blush on his face, those will probably make it to his dreams tonight.

Earlier that day

Today is Pablo's birthday. It started like any other day for them. When they are together, a typical day starts with a kiss in bed then breakfast. When they're not, it starts with a call or text message, just like today. He knew Pablo will be busy, so instead of a call, he decided to send a birthday message but only got a heart emoji reaction. Well it's better than nothing. He knows how Pablo gets when he's busy.

The rest of his morning was spent on exercise, breakfast, cleaning up and laundry.

He groaned when the buzzing sound of his phone woke him up. He must have dozed off after lunch.

"Pau?" he answered with a sleepy voice.

"Kagigising lang or natulog ulit?"

"Nakatulog sa pagod."

"Bakit? Anong ginawa mo?"

"Naglinis at naglaba."

"Ah, kala ko ano..."

"Ano? Ha? Ikaw kung anu ano pumapasok sa isip mo!"

"Wala naman akong sinabi ah! Pero alam mo bang pwede ka naman mag hire ng cleaner or send your laundry to a laundry shop?"

"Oo naman. Kala mo sakin? Walang alam?"

"Hahaha! Sungit naman baby ko. Tama nga pala yung kasabihan, magbiro ka na sa lasing, wag lang sa bagong gising."

"Haha! Buti alam mo. Pero seriously, sayang naman kasi ang pera, eh kaya ko naman gawin."

"Kuripot! Ako na magbabayad next time para di ka mapagod."

"Aysus, mas kuripot ka kaya."

"Oo, pero kung para sa'yo, hindi. Alam mo yan."

He smiled as he recall all the stuff and food that Pablo bought and paid for him. Totoo nga naman.

"Mmm oo na. Sige, akin nalang credit card mo."

"Hoy! Ibang usapang na yan. Ano ako sugar daddy? Hahaha."

"Eh daddy naman talaga kita." He  giggled.

"Ano sinabi mo?"

"Wala!"

"Narinig ko yun."

"Eh narinig mo naman pala, ba't mo pa tinatanong?"

"Wala. Gusto ko lang marinig ulit. Hahaha."

"Yung 'daddy'?"
"As in happy birthday daddy?" He repeated teasingly.

"Vester, parang mapipilitan ata ako mag motor now papunta dyan."

"So kasalanan ko?"

"Oo! Bakit kasi ganyan pagkasabi mo? Ang harot!"

"Eh sabi mo gusto mo marinig ulit. Masunurin lang ako sa daddy ko. Hahaha."
