The palace of the mind had always been such a beautiful place.

It could hold such beautiful things such as memories, stories, and even imaginations that could be from your inner child or even just a fantasy that you've been dreaming about forever. Especially if you had a mind of a miracle, the mind that held many possibilities & much more power than you could ever dream of. Miracles should love and cherish their existence, their minds, but...as long as they lived the more reality hit in.

And they realized that it could also be such a dark place.

Vee's mine had been a dark place, with little to no light inside, and much more trauma than a twelve year old boy should ever have.

The horrors of the memories that weren't as far as he'd like and the ones that repressed deep inside of his powerful mind. But even if his mind had been so "powerful" he couldn't even begin to comprehend what those memories that were lodged deep somewhere in his brain.

But, despite that, he still adventured through it. Using his gifts to find his friend that he'd miss much more than he'd ever miss anyone in his life.

The ground rippled in tiny pieces, as if he was walking on black water, but still stayed solid as he made his way through his mind. Lucas sat down on his bed, as it was isolated from the rest of his usual furnished room, and clutched a supercomm in his hand.

Vee frowned, he's doing it more. The ginger boy sighed with empathy, he never liked seeing Lucas sad. Much less....trying to contact him hoping he'd be there.

"So, uh..." Lucas sighed, his voice cracking. "It's been almost a year since you...." He couldn't bring himself to say it.

"You know. Left us." He muttered, his voice beginning to become dry. Vee remembered that Hopper had told Lucas he'd died that day at the school, only telling Mike El was missing, but that still hadn't stopped the Sinclair from trying. Mentally, Vee loathed Hopper for saying that but....he understood in a way.

Lucas needed to let him go one way.

"Everyone's been doing okay, you know? The best they can be." Lucas said. "Mike's been acting weird lately. More rude and aggressive-well, mean. Probably because of the guilt or something, I think he just misses El a lot....we all miss her. And we definitely miss you."

Vee started to feel his chest hurt, "Me and Mike talk about you guys sometimes. We talk about what we wished we would've did when you guys....disappeared. How cool you two were, where you're probably at now-what we would've said, stuff like that." Lucas let out a shaky breath, taking a moment of silence before he said what he said.
