Chapter 1

Today was the begining of winter and the two clans were going to gather together for the winter ball.The vampire servants worked hard to prepare all the food and decor for the ball the whole day.Everyone in the kingdom all dressed in their best clothing and went to their kings castle to gather in the ballroom.Jeon Jungkook on the other hand wasnt ready yet,he has gone to a event similar to this before so he wasnt at all nervous but he would rather stay home and train.But of course he didnt exactly want to deal with his father being angry with him.He sighed softly as he got up and began getting ready,he styled his hair and put on his jewlery.He put on his dress shoes and fixed his crown before he left his chamber and went to the ballroom,he saw his friends and went over to them and talked with them while everyone waited for the werewolf clans arrival.

Kim Taehyung sighed as he and his clan headed to the vampire nation,He didnt exactly like dressing up much but he couldnt exactly show up half naked.He and his clan all dressed in their best clothes and jewlery for the ball.Once they arrived to the vampire nation they entered the castle and headed to the ballroom.It was quite noisy due to everyone speaking but they all seemed to quite down a bit when the werewolf clan entered the room.Taehyung noticed all the vampires gazes on them and shuddered a bit."Ah Jihyun its so good to see you!~"A man suddenly spoke and began walking towards Taehyungs father."Its good to see you too Doyun."He softly spoke.Jihyun signaled Jungkook to come over to him,Jungkook rushed over to his fathers side and stood next to him"Jihyun i would like you to meet my son."He softly spoke.Jungkook looked at Jihyun"Hello my name is Jeon Jungkook,its a pleasure to meet you sir."He softly spoke as he respectfully bowed.Jihyun bowed back a bit"Its nice to meet you to Jungkook.Son introduce yourself please."He softly spoke.Taehyung nodded"Hello my name is Kim Taehyung its nice to meet you both."He softly spoke as he bowed to the two and rolled his eyes as he looked at the ground.Doyun smiled"Its nice to meet you too Taehyung.Well i hope you two will enjoy yourselves tonight."He softly spoke.Jihyun nodded"Thank you we will."He softly spoke.Doyun nodded and began talking to Jihyun,their sons on the other hand went their seperate ways and went to hang out with their friends.Jungkook drank his glass of blood and watched the guest quietly.Taehyung was eating some food with his friends,he noticed a female vampire staring at him and grew irritated"What the hell are you staring at!"He growled startling the vampire maiden.Taehyung smirked as he watched her run off.Jungkook heard the comotion and rushed over to see what was going on,he walked over to the werewolf"What the hell was that for?!"He asked in a upset tone.Taehyung rolled his eyes and looked at the vampire"What are you getting mad at me for,that vampire wasnt showing good manners towards me.So sorry for calling her out your Majesty"He growled and continued eating.Jungkook scofed and walked away irritated.Taehyung looked at his friends"You guys seem to be enjoying yourselves,i guess im just unlucky tonight.I honestly dont want to be here and i hate how we keep getting stared at."He softly spoke.Suddenly the lights dimmed and a light was only shown on King Doyun"Now its time for the dance between both nations to begin!Everyone will gather on the dance floor and dance with their mystery partner on this lovely winter night~"He spoke aloud with a smile.Taehyung actually was quite interested in dancing with a mystery partner,he set his empty plate down and rushed over to the dance floor and grabbed ahold of someones hand and pulled them to the dance floor.He got into position and bowed to his partner.Jungkook blinked in surprise when he was pulled to the dance floor by someone,he bowed to his dance partner once they got to the dance floor.Once the lights brightened once again they both lifted their heads to see who their dance partners were and to their surprise they were eachothers partners.Taehyung wasnt exactly thrilled and neither was Jungkook,they both put on a fake smile and began dancing to the music once it began playing.He dipped Jungkook a bit and hummed when he noticed how small Jungkooks waist was and how well it fit in his hold"Hm you seem quite delicate your highness."He whispered with a grin.Jungkook rolled his eyes"Dont call me delicate alright!~"He angrily whispered back.Taehyung grit his teeth a bit"Whatever you say your highness.But im not wrong now am i...I mean you vampires always brag about how strong you are but look at you.Your just a small delicate little prince~"He whispered mockingly.Jungkook flashed his fangs a bit at the werewolf"Shut up mutt!"He growled lowly.Taehyung bared his fangs back at the vampire"You better watch your mouth your highness."He growled as he gripped his waist tightly.Soon the music stopped and the two pulled away from eachother.Taehyung bowed"It was a pleasure dancing with you your highness~"He spoke acting as if nothing happened between the two.Jungkook bowed back a bit"It was a pleasure dancing with you too."he softly spoke and stood back up.Taehyung stood up and walked past Jungkook to go find another partner to dance with"Damn filthy bloodsucker."He whispered in a venom laced tone and walked towards the crowd.Jungkook grit his teeth and balled his hands into fists angrily,he walked away and went left the ballroom and stood in the hall and calmed hismelf down before entering the ballroom once again and spoke with some of the guests.Taehyung spoke with some members of his clan throughout the rest of the ball,he and Jungkook managed to end up being nearby one another and would constantly stare at one another.Taehyung felt his ear suddenly twitch when the sweet scent of vanilla suddenly caught his attention and it seemed to be overpowering the scents of the memembers of his clan and the other vampire guests.He didnt exactly hate the scent but it was a bit distracting.He couldnt gelp but
wonder where the smell was coming from since none of the desserts smelled like vanilla,he chose to ignore the smell and grabbed a glass of wine.He hummed softly at the taste and drank a few more glasses before the ball finally ended.All the guests began to leave,Taehyung walked close to his fatgers side while his fsther waved goodbye to the vampire king and prince.Jungkook and his father waved goodbye and watched the werewolf clan walk away,the servants all began to clean up the ballroom.Jungkook and his father now had both went to their seperate chambers and got ready for bed.Jungkook sighed as he laid in his bed and stared at the cieling as he thought about his and Taehyung hate filled dance and how everyone watched the two with smiles as they danced completely unaware of what the two were saying to eachother.He laid on his side and slowly driffted off to sleep.
