Family is Power (chapter 6)

Although it seemed like the Mako group were adjusting to their friends true identities more and more, Hayley and Rebekah were still terrified that there friends would hat them forever. Terrified that they'd never be able to look at them the same way again, the way they used to look at them when they were just Cleo and Emma.

After the video everyone was speechless. There were no words that the Scooby Gang could come up with after watching this, not even Damon. Everyone was still shocked at how much they fought for each other. Even though they already knew this it was still hard to picture especially when it envolved Klaus.
"What did they mean when they said Hope was the Hallow?"
Elena asked sounding concerned for the younger Mikaelson girl.
"Well I was possessed by a 15000 year old spirit that was trying to kill my family as a sacrifice to make her more powerful"
Hope explained bluntly.
Everyone was at a loss for words, it was strange hearing a young girl speak of tragic and traumatizing events as if it happened every other day. Even the Scooby Gang who were all teenagers themselves when they were dragged into this supernatural black whole.

The Mako group sat there immobilized by shock, not only were they're closest friends these supernatural creatures but there were people they recognized in that video who were mere acquaintances. This showed them that not everyone is who they claim to be.
"Hey isn't that that Ryan guy that liked Cleo?"
Bella said referring to Lucien.
When Hayley thought about it more she realized that it was Ryan.
"You're right! I never noticed before because he was too busy trying to scam us all with his lies, but now that you mention it"
"Who the bloody hell is Ryan?"
Rebekah asked Hayley.
"He's this guy that worked with my old step mom and I was trying to figure out what was up with Mako so I showed him a rock from there and he got so obsessed with it because it was moon rock. Anyways eventually Wills sister found out that the crystals that we used to wear as necklaces came from Mako and Ryan over heard it. He went to Mako with her and almost blew up the island just so they could sell the crystals and get rich."
When Rebekah finally took that all in she heard laughter.
"I'm sorry but do you expect me to believe that Lucien was working as a rock scientist?"
Klaus said while still laughing uncontrollably.
"It's not funny Nick!"
"Right right I'm sorry"
Klaus said trying to compress his laughter.
"Thank god I never went out with him"
Hayley said thinking back to when Ryan was asking her out. When she thought of that she physically gagged.
"Lucien creeped me out back then too"
Hayley added on.
"Well not at first"
Bella said teasing her.
Hayley rolled her eyes playfully and looked back at the screen as it was starting up again.

All the girls in the room were silently cheering on Hayley and Rebekah and being grateful that they had friends of their own that would do that for them too, fight for each other untill the end.
"Who knew our sister invented woman's rights"
Kol said trying to make a joke.
Davina elbowed Kol in the ribs while everyone else either sighed and rolled their eyes or yelled at him to shut up.
"Tough crowd then"
Kol mumbled to himself.
The Mako group was still shocked that they couldn't be killed, ever. They knew that they were immortal and that they were vampires but they thought that they could still be killed, like with a wooden stake.

When the video ended Bonnie couldn't hold it in any longer.
"How did you snap his neck with a twist of your hand?!"
Bonnie saw how powerful Freya was and she wanted to learn all kinds of things that Freya could do.
"It's quite easy actually, I'll tell you later"
Freya replied not wanting to reveal too much in front of everyone.
"Also, why was Emma fighting Cleo?"
Rikki asked shocked that the two would be fighting each other.
"Well love I was possessed in a way. I don't really know how to explain it better than that"
Rebekah said not wanting to remember how she felt after that stupid stake hexed her.
And as if the stupid screen heard their conversation the next video that was shown was Hayley and Rebekah's fight.

"Well that was nice, at least it started with a hug"
Stefan said being the one to make a joke this time.
"Wow Stefan cracking a joke, has the world come to an end?"
Kol said sarcastically. Everyone ignored his comment while Davina just elbowed him again.
"Ahh"
Kol said in a whisper of slight pain. They all laughed at the interaction.
"Why is blondie number 2 I've here bleeding from her eyes?"
Damon said in disgust referring to Freya when she was doing the spell.
"I was bleeding because the spell took most of my power and strength"
Freya replied annoyed with Damon.
"I still can't believe you almost ripped her heart out"
Bella said sounding concerned.
"In my defense it was involuntarily"
Rebekah said defending herself.
"By the way that mark was disgusting"
Elena decided to chime in.
"Thanks for the input love"
Rebekah replied sarcastically.

When the video ended Hope still had her face buried in her dad's shirt.
"Eww I did not need to see that"
Hope said still disgusted that she saw her mom getting down and dirty with her dad and Jackson.
Klaus chuckled while looking down at his daughter.
"Sorry I didn't choose what clips they showed"
Hayley said in her defense.
"It's fine it's just kind of burned into my memory now but I'll live"
Hope said still trying to shake that image out of her mind.
Everyone enjoyed watching the scene unfold in front of them. Lewis on the other hand still felt a slight sting whenever he saw Cleo with another guy. No matter where they are or who they're with Lewis will always love Cleo, he may not be in love with her for the rest of his life but he will always have love for her, and vice versa.
