I brewed a cup of coffee, clicking my stiff neck as I stretched my wings open.

The sun was fully up in the sky, the time read 11:34 am.

I hadn't realised I had slept till so late.

I heard the sound of soft moaning as the bundle in the blankets stirred.

Kyouka pushed herself up, rubbing her eyes as she yawned.

"Good morning, Onee-chan." She said as she saw me, stretching her limbs.

I paused before smiling as Kyouka walked over to the bathroom.

She came back out, her kimono on.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked, taking a sip of my coffee.

Kyouka opened her mouth to answer but I heard the sound of soft whistling as my eyes widened.

"Get down!" I shouted as I tackled Kyouka to the ground, behind a wall as the sound of glass shattering filled the room.

The sound of more glass shattering echoed the room as Kyouka gasped as bullets tore through the furniture.

The raid of bullets ceased as I breathed heavily.

"Kyouka are you alright." I asked to Kyouka who was down on the ground next to me.

She swallowed, nodding her head as I peeked my head out from behind the wall.

Almost instantly, the sound of a bullet was heard as I flinched back, the bullet flying past and hitting the wall on the other side.

Kyouka gasped again as she breathed heavily.

I frowned as I saw a bullet on the ground.

It was the red, the colour of blood. Which only meant one thing. Silent Winds.

I narrowed my eyes as I leaned against the wall, frowning.

Breathing deeply, I stood out from the wall again and heard the sound of bullet whizzing as it struck though glass.

I stepped back behind the wall as the bullet hit the wall, making another hole.

"What are you doing?" Kyouka asked, panic in her voice as I ignored her, concentrating.

"The shot seemed like it came from the roof of the department store on the right." I muttered out.

Breathing deeply, I concentrated, picturing it.

I felt my flames burst from my hands as Kyouka gasped.

I frowned, picturing my flames bursting from the roof of the department store.

I heard a cry as I peeked out the window to see a small figure flailing on the roof of the store as they tried to put out the flames.

Before I could make my next move, the door was kicked down as soldiers poured into the room.

My eyes widened as they searched for us.

As their eyes landed on us, I grabbed Kyouka's wrist and ran forward.

"Shoot them!" I heard a voice shout a bit too late as I jumped from the window, Kyouka behind me.

I spread my wings, wrapping my arm around Kyouka's waist as I flew high.

I heard the sound of bullets being shot as I flew in an irregular pattern.

I sighed in relief as we were away a safe distance from the hotel, crawling with Silent Winds.

"Onee-chan look out!" Kyouka cried just as I saw from the corner of my eye as an assassin raised a gun and shot the bullet straight to Kyouka.

I had no time to think as I just reacted, twisting aside so Kyouka was safe.

I girt my teeth as I felt the bullet hit me in the side.

I dropped a few feet in the air as I flapped my wings harder.

I knew that these bullets were soaked with poison, a tranquilliser to paralyse the victim.

A had a few minutes at most before I wouldn't be able to move.

As I saw a dock, I dropped down.

Letting Kyouka go before trying to land myself.

My legs gave out as I dropped, rolling to a painful stop.

"One-chan!" Kyouka cried out as I grit my teeth.

"Kyouka." I said as she ran towards me.

"Get away from here. Run." I said but Kyouka shook her head.

"No." She said as she tried to pull me back up.

"Kyouka, the bullet had poison on it. I won't be able to move in a few minutes." I said as Kyouka stubbornly set her jaw, trying to left me back up.

"Kyouka, run. Go find the Agency. They'll protect you. Find the were tiger." I said.

I stumbled up and held Kyouka's shoulders, shaking her.

"The Silent Winds are after me. Leave before they find you too." I said.

Kyouka shook her head. "No, they'll kill you just for helping me." Kyouka said.

It was probably true but Kyouka didn't need to know that.

"I'm too important to Moriai-san for him to kill me." I reasoned.

"Kyouka, you have to run. I'll try to hold them back so you can get as far as possible." I said.

"Don't worry about me. I'll escape and find you." I said, knowing full well I would never.

Kyouka bit her lip, hesitant.

"Go!" I shouted before Kyouka finally ran off.

I sighed as I tried to stay still as possible, controlling my breathing to make the poison spread as slow as possible.

I finally saw a few assassins walk over, clothed fully in black as I closed my eyes.

I opened them again, a blank expression on my face as I turned to into the Silent Winds Assassin.

A cold empty weapon.

Two assassins attacked first, swiping at my legs as I jumped over.

I kicked one in there head but they ducked.

I twisted aside as I felt the other assassin come from behind.

They were caught off balance as I kicked their arm holding their blade.

The blade slipped from their hand as I grabbed it before plunging it into their neck.

I pulled it out, catching the blade of the other assassin.

I shoved them, making them stumble back as I slit their throat.

The two assassins slumped to the floor as I turned towards the remaining assassins.

They were hesitant, looking at the two assassin who had died so quickly from my hand.

I could feel the poison was starting to set in as numbness spread through my legs.

I stayed next to the dead assassins for a second before lunging forward.

I was in front of one of the assassins in a blink of an eye, slicing at their neck.

They caught the blade, however the force was strong as they fell to the ground.

Before I could finish them, I sensed something from behind as I turned, kicking the hand coming towards me with a dagger.

Their weapon slid free from their grasp as I dug my blade deep into their neck.

The assassin coughed up blood before slumping to the ground.

I reached down for the other dagger in their hand as I pulled it from the corpse's grasp.

"Let me show you why I am called the Silent Winds Perfect Assassin. The DeathAngel." I said as I leapt forward, both blades raised, paving a path of blood.
