Its been about an hour since the whole situation with roach nigga and pretty girl happened. We stood outside for another 30 minutes waiting for the police.
Chris and King have been sitting in the car. I don't know what's going on with chris. He obviously knows who the pretty girl is or should I say cassidy.
Alura's dad is head of the police department so of course when she called they hauled ass.
Come to find out they been looking for this bitch ass nigga for a while. Nigga a murderer, a registered sex offender, and he kidnapped pretty girl. She didn't leave my side the whole time.
I was not complaining.
She let Alura rub her back and she would answer her questions with a nod or shaking her head no. Asking things like does she have a family? Is she from here? Is she hurt? Does she have anywhere to stay? Anyone to call.
To which she replied no to all of them.
She nodded when lura asked if her real name was Cassidy and if she was hungry. The investigators wanted to talk to her privately so you know how that goes. She of course only answered to lura and i. Luckily lura knows all the shit to ask cause her parents are both involved with the law. We finally found out she has been with this bitch ass nigga for almost a year. He snatched her up when she was leaving her apartment to meet up with someone.
Apparently that someone was Chris making me grow all types of confused.
"Aye cassidy if you don't mind me asking... who is Chris to you ma" i asked and she said nothing. making me sigh mentally. She is lowkey frustrating me.
Yes I know I have to be patient. I don't know why I'm feeling like this but I have this urge to protect her and help her. But i cant if she doesn't tell me anything how can i help you know?
"Come on shorty let's get you something to eat" I said lowly and she nodded. She stayed buried by my side as we walked into the restaurant.
Dee and Lura followed by Chris and the king walked in behind us as well. Chris looked as if he had been crying. im confused denna bitch ill ask in a second. We sat down at the table we reserved, surprised they didn't give our shit away.
She left my side and a nigga was cold instantly. I shook my head at that and went to sit down. I watched her walked to alura and alura pulled her away. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion but quickly relaxed when I saw them going towards the restroom. Once she left I remembered to ask Chris about why he was acting how he did.
"Aye wassup with you bro how you know shordy" i asked chris lowly cause we are still in public.
"Man... she my baby sister." he croaked out, shaking his head as if he was in denial.
Me King and Demari eyes widened.
"I haven't seen her up close yet let's hope she doesn't look like you" Dee said, making me slap the back of his head and mug him.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU WORRIED ABOUT '' King whisper yelled before he started mumbling what i'm sure was cuss words under his breath while rubbing Chris's back.
"Yea man i haven't seen her in person before we have different dads so when her dad moved she went with. They moved before I even got the chance to meet her. I found out when I was 10. Once she moved I had no way to contact her. I found her on social media a couple years later. We were supposed to meet up a while back but she never showed. It ate me up because I knew something was wrong. She was texting me up until she wasn't and I texted her for months after. i.. I thought she was dead and I feel like I failed as her big brother. Now i know what really happened and i- i cant even face her she didnt even want to talk to me.... she prolly hate a nigga now think i set her up or something i dont know." he explained letting out a huff of anger before putting his face in his hands shaking his head.
"Chris nigga she doesn't hate you and it was no where near your fault ... it was nothing you could've done to prevent what happened you were a distance away she was coming to see you she just is in shock right now and probably doesn't even remember you. she literally just had a gun shot at her and i'm sure it ain't the first time so all you can do is be there and love her cause i'm sure she needs it." i said standing up going to his side of the table and so did demari.
We consoled Christopher until Cassidy and lura came back and sat down.
I had the time to take in cassidy... She had on a big hoodie that swallowed her, some shorts and crocs. Her big curly hair was all over the place. She looked exhausted. Her full pink lips in a deep pout and her eyes glassy like she could cry on the drop of a dime.
