I knocked on the door before i limped in. As I got deeper into the room I could hear Cass crying softly. Making my damn chest hurt.
"Cassie baby.. i'm here" Her back was turned to the door but when she heard me her head popped up and turned in my direction. Her instantly cries grew louder. She shakily opened her arms for me telling me to come to her. Her hair was in a big messy bun and her face held a pout as the tears ran rapidly down her face.
As soon as we touched i was filled with instant relief like just seeing her wasn't enough. This only made cass cry harder. I'm sure she was relieved and in pain so I'm not really sure which cry this is.
She then groaned and switched back to the position she was in when I walked in. I pulled a chair up by the bed making sure it was facing her and I sat down with a huff.
A nigga still in pain but my babies first.
"You scared me judis. I was so scared. The thought of losing you has crossed my mind before and I cried like I had lost you and you were in my arms. I thought that hurt but this was so much worse." She then moved her hand to grab mine and place it on her cheek.
"I know baby, I'm sorry i'm so sorry. In this year yall have become my whole world and iill never let anything take me from you and our baby. I love you. And i'm going to love our baby girl even more." I leaned in to kiss her forehead and her lips after wiping her tears.
"Okay you had your time now lemme speak with my princess" This made her laugh. I smiled before moving to her stomach to talk to toot.
"Tootie i know you awake it's daddy" cassie raised her gown and i poked around on her stomach knowing she usually kicks when i do.
She responded immediately and you could see her moving around in there. This made cassie wince i quickly apologized and glanced to see if she was okay. She just had her eyes closed so I continued to rub her stomach.
"I know babygirl you're ready to get out of there huh. Impatient just like your momma. I know those mean nurses were hurting you but you gotta come out the right way don't be difficult toot me and momma wanna see you" me and cassie laughed.
"Me and mommy love you take your time but hurry up we ready for you" and with that i kissed her belly and leaned my forehead on cassie's and watched and she dozed off while playing in my hair. I don't know what I would've done if I lost them.
I shook my head at the thought before dozing off too.
