(January 16th 2006) Katie's POV
We're going to the cinema today to see Underworld Evolution. We are still in Forks. We would of usually moved on by now. But we love it here, it feels like home. "Why are we seeing Underworld again?" Aimee asks as we wait for the taxi.
"Because, you let Mikey pick the movie" I remind her.
"I didn't know he'd pick a horror/thriller" she whines.
"Oh grow up scaredy cat" Mikey tells her.
"I'm not a scaredy cat" Aimee tells him pouting.
"Enough you two, the taxi is here" I tell them. "Mikey, you know what to do" I say and he concentrates on us. Our outward appearance changed to that of teenage humans.
"I look hot" Aimee states and I roll my eyes at her.
"Lets go" Mikey says happily. We leave the house and piles into the taxi.
"Port Angeles cinema, please" I tell the driver. Who nods his head and drives us there. I pay him and we go to the cinema. We go to the counter.
"Three tickets for Underworld Evolution" Mikey tells the cashier.
"Of course, anything else handsome?" she asks him. He looks away bashfully.
"Do you guys want anything?" he asks us.
"Nothing for me, Aimee?" I ask. But she doesn't answer. I look at her to see her looking at two teenage human girls. "Aimee" I say and she looks at me. "Did you want anything?" I ask her.
"No, I'm good" she tells me. I share a look with Mikey. She always makes us get popcorn.
"Can we have a large popcorn?" Mikey asks the cashier and she nods her head. She tallies it and he pays. She hands him the popcorn and tickets. "Thank you" he says and we left. We find our seats and sit down.
"What happened?" I ask Aimee concerned.
"You just zoned out" Mikey states confused.
"One of the human girls, smelt familiar" she states.
"Familiar how?" I ask her.
"Her scent is in my room at the house, or it was" she states.
"Do you think she knows about us?" Mikey asks me.
"Possible, if she was dating a vampire. But why would the Cullens leave her behind?" I muse.
"Something could of happened that endangered her life" Aimee states.
"Still it's weird" I mutter.
"It must of been Bella Swan" Mikey tells us grinning.
"Who?" we ask him confused.
"Bella Swan, the sheriff's daughter. When I was asking about whose house it was. I found out the sheriff's daughter was dating one of the Cullens. She went into deep depression after they left" he states.
"Must of been his mate, surprise she's human and that he left her" I mutter.
"You'll find someone soon" Aimee tells me.
"Ew, no" I tell her.
"What do you think we have cooties?" Mikey asks me smirking.
"Grow up" I mutter as the movie starts. They chuckle at my embarrassment. Aimee digs into the popcorn as the boring before movie adverts start.
(Time skip)
"Never again" Aimee says as we leave the room.
"It wasn't that bad" Mikey tells her.
"Tell that to my once innocent virgin eyes" she tells him.
"Shouldn't of let him picked the movie" I tell her.
"You ok Katie?" Mikey asks me.
"Just some bad memories" I tell him.
"I'm so sorry Katie, you can pick the next movie" he tells me.
"I'll be ok, I'm gonna go freshen up. Can you guys hail a taxi?" I ask them. They nod their heads and I go to the bathroom. Feeling the illusion drop as I leave Mikey's field of sight. As I enter the bathroom I run into someone.
"I'm so sorry" a girl says. I look up to see one of the human girls Aimee had been looking at. She looks at my eyes shocked.
"It's fine" I state looking away from her. "Can I get by?" I ask her. She moves aside and I head over to the sink.
"I'm Bella" she tells me.
"Pleasure" I say as I wash my hands.
"Where are your parents?" she asks me.
"My brother and sister are hailing a taxi" I tell her.
"Oh" she says. "I've never seen you around here before, are you new to town?" she asks me.
"What's with all the questions?" I ask her growing bored as I dry my hands.
"Sorry" she says. "You didn't answer my question" she adds sheepishly.
"My family and I arrive before Christmas last year, we don't get out much" I tell her. "Goodbye" I say and leave before she can say anything else. When I get outside I go to an alley and meet the other two. I became a teenager again.
"Taxi is on it's way" Aimee tells me.
"Good" I say as we go back onto the street. I spot Bella with her friend looking at a group of bikers. She approaches them. "Idiot" I say.
"Who?" they ask me.
"Bella Swan, meet her in the bathroom" I tell them. "She diffidently knows something, Kept asking me questions" I state.
"Does that mean we have to leave?" Aimee asks with a pout.
"Maybe, I don't know" I tell her.
"Taxi's here" Mikey says. We get in and I give the driver the address. "So what's the plan once we get home?" he asks us.
"Disney princess movies" Aimee states.
"No way, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Mikey tells her.
"Guys, it's my turn" I remind him.
"Then what do you choose?" they ask me.
"Barbie movies" I tell them and Mikey groans as Aimee claps happily. We soon arrive home and I pay the driver. We go inside and set up the TV. Along with a blanket fort, before sitting down and watching Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. While eating junk food. Along singing along to the songs. Mikey may complain, but he loves the music.
