Alex's POV

It is the night of the first play and when I tell you I was nervous, I mean 'imma vomit in a sec' kind of nerves. Everyone looked so good in their outfits while I sat here in my tiger onesie, the only reason I'm wearing this is because we did rehearsals earlier then we all decided to head home and get our stuff and I happen to be the first one from my group here. I sat in my dressing room scrolling through my phone and could faintly hear Reynolds and Lee's rehearsal music coming from the back. 

Out of nowhere, Thomas scared me by shouting from behind "BOO!" In response I let out a inhuman scream that made my drop my phone "That was not funny!" I exclaimed crossing my arms with a small pout "Well I beg to differ" Thomas chuckled handing my phone back and taking a seat next to me  "humph" I said still pouting "Aw don't pout, you look better smiling darlin'" he smirked which made me blush. "Anyways you excited?" he asked poking my sides "Yes s-stop t-hat tickles!" I said giggling "ok ok I'll stop"

We talking for a few more minutes more of the squad showed up except John and Peggy. "Hey guys has anyone seen John or Pegs?" "nope" "non" "they where here this morning" "imma cal-" Just as I was about to finish the two barged in "SORRY WE'RE LATE!" John yelled catching his breath "It's fine- wait dID YOU DYE YOUR HAIR!?" I shouted in shock. Johns golden brown curls were now laced in gold highlights and had two pink strands at the front. "Yeah! you like" He said running a hand through the more volumed curls "I LOVE IT!" Eliza exclaimed "It looks really nice" Angie said with a smile. Laf and herc nodded in agreement "I like the gold bits, can I touch?" Thomas asked "Yeah sure!" John said sitting in front of him "Omg its so soft!" "innit"

Ok we have an hour until show time, Peggy gave me a copy of the timetable of the night. It went something like this: 

Maria Lewis ~ Singing 

Samuel Seabury ~ violin 

James R and Charles Lee ~ Hip hop dance 

The Rev squad ~ Candy Store 

Announcements 

It was wasn't that packed of a night than the rest of the week. I went to get dress into my costume which consisted of a blue semi-mini skirt, blue blazer and blue tie (Obviously the white button down but eh) and my hair is supposed to be in a messy bun but its too knotty. I was trying to brush out the knot out when Thomas walked in with his "Hey" he said taking a seat next to me "He-OW!" I was cut off by to brush going over to knot. "Need help?" "Thomas asked with a cocked brow "yes please" 

He took the brush from my hands and started to gently brush through it, when it got to the knot it didn't hurt at all "how did you-?" I asked confused "When you have poofy hair like mine you learn things" He said with slight mockery pride in his voice "makes sense" I chuckled. We sat their in comfy silence, Thomas brushing my hair and me watching his face focus on the brush, neither of us wanted to break the silence it was to...peaceful.

Once he was done he handed me the brush and looked up from my hair "You look great" "Thank you AND thank you from doing my hair" I rambled while blushing "No problem" he said softly. He sat back next to me and we both just looked into each others eyes, They were like two chocolate pools mixed with caramel and the bright stars in the sky. His face seemed to be getting closer but before I could say anything I was pulled into a sweet loving kiss, our lips moved like a perfect puzzle and his lips were as soft as I imagined and best of all it felt so right.

Hey ok so I know I'm kinda dragging but also going fast with this story but eh what can you do. ALSO sooo sorry about the really late update school is meh but yeah cya baiii<3
