you sat next to ganyu and felt the keys on your laptop. jean ran a hand through her blonde bangs , a sigh exiting her mouth.
"we must decide on the upcoming summer festival and how we'll handle budget and activities for it. does anyone have any suggestions on areas we can host it and how we will raise money ?" jean said. ningguang rested her chin on her hands. "perhaps we can host it in a nearby park. and i think having a special event fundraiser will help raise enough money."
keqing nodded. "maybe something like a cafe ? we can try partnering with small restaurants and such."
jean hummed. "that does sound like a good idea. this year i want to use as little as possible so that we can use more on the sports festival and the upcoming sports games. paying for travel and food for teams are expensive..."
"then i suggest we request students to donate some money and we all can find some jobs to pick up as well. the official festival date is set two days before summer break , which is in three weeks. let's go ahead and give it our all." jean smiled. you began typing the details into your laptop , recording her words in the document.
albedo pulled out a stack of papers and offered it to the president. "xingqiu and i gathered some ideas for stands based off of the other student's opinions. we can add more changes to it later though." she took it with grace. "thank you albedo and xingqiu."
"does this conclude our short meeting ?"
everyone nodded. jean got up from her chair and sorted them out. "alright then. i hope you all have a great rest of your day."
as you and keqing exited the school building , a few yells and sounds of balls being thrown were heard from the school gym where the male volleyball team was practicing. the purple haired girl looked at you. "aren't you going to see the team today ? i heard your little loooover was helping out the gu-"
"shut up and im going !"
you stomped towards the gym which earned a laugh from keqing. "have fun !" she then turned around and made her way back home.
the sounds began to get louder and louder and also more clear. you entered the gym quietly and took a look at the team before actually joining the situation.
tohma stood next to the coach with a notebook in hand and pen in the other , his hair in a high ponytail instead of the usual low styled one. he was observing gorou , who was hitting the ball with kaeya as their setter.
((idk why but i can see kaeya as a setter that also does surprise hits and dumps , and when he scores a point he'll just snicker at the enemy team before putting his hands on his waist and wiping his sweat with the jersey.))

you hummed. gorou was captain of teyvat academy's volleyball team and also the class representative of his own respective class. although he was perceived as weak and short , he was actually packed with strength and brawn in reality.
the fox-boy gave kaeya a quick high five before adjusting his kneepads and going back to hit once again. you spotted ayaka among the group with the captain of the female volleyball team , beidou.
"ayaka !"
you ran over to her with a smile. beidou elbowed her and whispered something , causing ayaka to blush and hit her shoulder.
"heya secretary ! finished your meeting ?" she asked. you nodded. "we talked over the summer festival and the budget for it. are you guys playing with the boys today ?"
beidou's voice sounded confident and full of heart. "yep ! we just finished but gorou and kaeya are still working on hitting. our pretty princess and libero ayaka managed to fend them all off. as expected !"
"it's nothing really..." "oh yeah , are you coming to our game thats the day before summer break ? it's gonna be the best one yet , we're going against a school called shiratorizawa. their pretty posh and shit."
you hummed. the rumors and whispers you've heard about that school was expected of such a prestigious private school.
'i heard that their volleyball team is on the next level ! especially their male team.'
'apparently 100% of the students get accepted into ivy league universities in america.'
'their male volleyball ace is hot. that's it. end of story.'
their voices echoed through your head.
"i'll look forward to it. our volleyball team going against a school held up by such high expectations... unfortunately i have plans to go somewhere the day before summer break , but i'll try to make it."
