you quickly ran towards an empty field of grass on a hill , sitting down next to a tree. ayaka followed your actions with quick breaths.

"hah... hah... what was that for ?"

"it- it was nothing. anyways , let's focus on the firework show. it should happen in a few minutes." you fixed your posture and gave her a smile. she nodded. her blue kimono started to loosen on her body a little bit.

"did you like the festival ?" you asked.

"yeah. it was really fun."

she placed her goldfish onto the floor , letting it get a nice view from the hill. she fiddled with the small bird stuffed animal that you managed to gain from one of the games. her hair started to loose it's neatness and a few strands poked out.

"this really is a nice way to end the semester." ayaka commented. you hummed. "mhm. and then , your big volleyball game is in two days ! once you win the game , we can all go out for ice cream." she smiled to your words.

"if we win , that is."

"i'm sure you guys will."

you both sat in silence for a few more minutes as the fireworks began to start. popping colors of green , yellow , and blue shone throughout the sky , making your eyes twinkle. it had an illusion of falling stars. soaking in the nice view , there was a satisfied smile on your face.

the sound of the crowd could be heard from the distance but the fireworks soon overcame that sound with loud bangs and high pitched squeals.

((i remember when everyone thought there was gonna be a school shooting bc someone popped confetti and it sounded like a gun lol))

as one last banging firework lit up the sky , it's glimmering facade soon disappeared , making it dark again.

you stood up and offered your hand to ayaka with a grin. she took your hand in hers.

"ready to go ?"

you groaned while burying yourself in between ganyu's bedsheets and pillows. keqing giggled at your actions and plopped beside you.

"i can't believe i was that bold to ayaka today ! what if she realizes i have a crush on her ?!"

ganyu sat down next to keqing and hugged her baby blue pillow. "well , it's pretty obvious she likes you back. and sometimes it's better to be bold then hold it in." she said. keqing nodded to her words , her kimono replaced with a fresh set of shorts and a t-shirt.

"you two really have to hurry it up. aren't you going to that one seminar across the world in a few days ? i think it's better if you tell her now then lat-" keqing was cut off by you.

"well that would just leave her confused ! whatever... i'll sort it out later. but today , let's have some fun ! we haven't slept over in ages." you exclaimed and slapped keqing's bare stomach , making a loud 'smack' noise. "ow ! now what is with you and your crazy obsession with bare tummies ?!" she grumbled out. you snickered evilly.
