An Unexpected Change

Y/n's pov

We are leaving today. And I still haven't met the owner! It is so frustrating! I would like to thank her, but it seems like she is trying to avoid me. Inosuke got to talk to her so why not me? It didn't even need to be that long of a meet.

I had decided. I was going to hunt down that woman and tell her my gratitude whether she liked it or not.

I was pacing in front of my troupe. They were all sitting on the ground, legs folded crisscross applesauce, awaiting my command. I had gathered them together to help me track down the Lady. And I was positive I needed all the help I could get.

I held a stick behind my back as I walked. I was trying to look professional, okay?

"Alright listen up you munchkins. We have a very important mission today. We can't have any mess ups or we won't be able to accomplish this. And I'm looking at you, Zen and Boary." I pointed at my eyes and then at them to get my point across. "I am going to assign you each a section of rooms to explore. And if you find the Lady, bring her back here. Do not let her escape. I will see her. Do not underestimate me!"

I stopped walking and thrusted the stick in the air, one of my arms still behind my back.

"We will not lose!" I yelled. Everyone started to cheer, clapping their hands. I even heard a whistle.

"Alright team. Now is the time to divide and conquer. We will have two teams of two ok? Who would like to be alone?" Boar Head immediately raised his hand. "I am going to find the nice lady before any of you do and I will win this competition!" "Yeah that's the spirit, Boary!"

"I want to be with Nezuko!" Zenitsu yelled out. "Alrighty, then that leaves me with Tanjiro." I smiled at the thought. I was glad to be with Tanjiro.

"Ok, since I have traveled these halls many times in the time we've been here I have pretty much memorized the whole place. I drew several maps for each person to take with them on their journey. If anyone gets lost, stay where you are and we will come and find you after we have captured the lady. Got it?" I saw everyone nod so I got out the maps and started to pass them to everyone. "Each map has a section of rooms for all of you to search, they are circled in red. Once you have looked through all of your rooms and you haven't found her, come back here and wait for one of the other teams to come back." I placed my hands on my hips and stood in front of them. Nezuko was looking up at me with her big pink eyes. Zenitsu was staring at Nezuko and they were holding hands. Tanjiro was grinning from ear to ear, looking excited to get the mission going. And last but not least, Boar Head was doing push ups, using only one arm to push himself up and down.

I clapped my hands together, forgetting I was holding the stick. I winced a little at the sting and started to talk. "Are we ready for this?!" Everyone started to cheer. "Alrighty! Let's start this thing!" I held my hand out in front of me and waited for everyone to get up and put theirs on top of mine. Tanjiro seemed to get what I was doing because he jumped up and put his hand on mine. I smiled at him. Everyone soon followed after him. When we were all in a circle I started to shout.

"PLUS ULT- wait wrong fanfic. WE GOT THIS!!" "YEAH!" Everyone cheered.

We ran out into the hall, going our separate ways. "Don't die!" I yelled to Boary, Nezuko and Zenitsu. "How dare you say that! Are you doubting me?! I could never die!" Boary shouted while running down his designated hall. I heard him continue to shout until he was too far away to hear.

I laughed a little and continued walking with Tanjiro. "He has a strange way of looking at everything."

"Yeah, but that's why we love him." Tanjiro replied.
