Chapter 4: Familiar Faces.

"Good morning class, my name is Mrs Floreck, it's nice to see some new faces in here!"

Lori tried to avoid eye contact with most of her classmates and her teacher but failed when she saw her teacher catch her eye "Hey there, and who might you be?" she said friendly but welcoming. Lori started a fake coughing fit, Mosh laughed at how pathetic her new friend was acting "Dude, chill she's not going to bite you or anything!" Lori knew what she meant and stopped acting like a tool then said bravely "My names Lori, Lori Paine." For a second Lori thought that her teacher was in shock I mean come on her expression was priceless, but she thought it was kind of creepy so she looked away from her green eyed gaze. "Anyways, class open your textbooks to page 20 where we'll be learning about the history of the school." Behind Lori the whole class started booing, Lori had to bite her lip hard only because she was on the verge of telling everybody to shut the hell up. Mrs Floreck had a dissaproving look on her face, she sighed then said "Ok, ok I'll put the powerpoint up instead." The whole class went silent which to their teacher they were telling her... yes? Talk about change the subject! Lori looked at Mosh confused then asked "I thought this was supposed to be biology?" Mosh chuckled slighty then shook her head "No it's not it history then biology." Ceelo was the one to break the tension "Damn, if I wasn't so gay I would totally tap that!" Lori rolled her eyes then asked "I thought you were gay?" Mosh muffled a laugh then said "I thought that too, turns out he's bisexual!" Then Mosh and Lori started busting out laughing, what they didn't realise was that Mrs Floreck was in the middle of explaining something "What's so funny ms Paine, ms Melina?" Just as Lori was about to protest some idiot who turned out to be Reese, yelled out "IT'S MOSH'S FACE MS!" Mosh rolled her eyes then said "By the time I'm fifty I'll still be hotter than you!" Reese then replied " Oh I'd doubt that." The group of girls who were swarming around him laughed along with him, Lori then coughed the word "Asshole." Reese looked confused which was hilarious then asked "What did you say?" Lori smiled then pretended to cough again "Oh that it was nothing I just had something in my throat that's all." Reese rolled his eyes then turned back to face the teacher, Mosh, Lori and Ceelo giggled then hi-fived each other. Mrs Floreck sighed angrily then asked "Was anybody paying attention?" Lori looked around the room and saw this guy with pale skin, black hair and gold streaks and golden brown eyes, not like the ones those Twilight guys wear they were more like lion eyes, literally. Once he caught Lori's gaze he smiled and winked at her "I did mrs Floreck." He said, Lori was a bit flusterred but Mosh's words seemed  to calm her down a bit "Of course, because my little brother Zane know's everything!" The whole class laughed, Lori was shocked "That's your brother?" Mosh's face turned grim "I have two the other one's name is blake he's like in year ten or something don't worry I'll explain later." Then as if it were right on cue the bell rang, and it scared the crap out of Lori. "Come on jumpy let's go." Mosh said as she offered her hand to help her up, once they were out of the classroom Lori was just about to ask Mosh something when she was rudely interrupted by a angry looking coca-cola red headed pixie "What do you have against my boyfriend?" Lori laughed then said "Nothing, other than the fact that your boyfriends a manwhore!" Just before the girl was about to slap her Mosh grabbed her wrist and said sternly "Leave her alone Lina!"  Lori was shocked and suprised at the same time, she never knew how awseome her friend was until know. Mosh was obviously causing Lina pain, Lina started whimpering, then Mosh let her go "Now shoo." Mosh motioned Lina to go away then turned to look at Lori "You really do piss off the wrong people huh?" Lori shrugged then laughed "That was awseome!" Mosh smiled then looked in between her nail beds and she saw black blood she looked over at Lori then said "Stay here and don't move!" As she swiftly pulled out this purple stake looking thing out of her "Invader Zim." backpack and started marching towards  Linda, then as if she were a ninja she stabbed Linda in the chest "Die you crazy son of a bitch!" Linda snarled as her eyes started turning black and he body was turning paler and paler, and then turned to ash. "Lori hand me my mini vaccum." Lori was fozen for a second but did as she told, she found what did look like a mini vaccum only it was fully covered with Twilight stickers. "Here." Lori said as she threw the vaccum to Mosh, she caught it and started aiming it at the pile of ash. As soon as she was finished  she walked over to her backpack and put back her purple stake along with her mini vaccum and started walking while dragging Lori along "What are you, what was that?" Mosh stopped and looked at Lori with a serious expression then said "I'm a Shadow Of The Dead slayer, and that is a Shadow." Mosh said pointing to where the ashes were "What's a Shadow you might ask, well a Shadow is a vampire who died and came back from the dead, my job is to protect the school from them."
