Chapter 8: Awkward Events...

"So why are we here again?" Lori asked, Blaze raised one of his eyebrows then said "Oh I think you know what I'm talking about Lori." He looked at Zane then asked "Do you know what I'm talking about?" Zane nodded obviously feeling guilty "Yeah I know but why do you want to bring this up again?" Blake shook his head "We have to um ask you to nip it in the bud, sorry part of our school rules if you refuse you'll have to be kicked out." Lori was shocked and confused "Why is it part of school policy?" Lori asked again "Well.... we have never had a half breed and we never will it's just unnatural." Zane scoffed as if he had heard the most ridiculous thing ever, which it was! "Are you kidding everyone in this school are freaking vamps for crying out loud!" Blaze then shouted back "I don't make the rules here OK so don't take it out on me!" Zane rolled his eyes then grabbed onto Lori's arm "Come on Lori we don't have to be here." Lori couldn't speak so she just went along with whatever Zane just said. Zane slammed angrily then cursed under his breath, Lori didn't hear what he said but she cried anyways "I don't want to kill it!" Lori yelled, Zane rushed to Lori held her hand then said "You don't have to, we can have a new life away from Dawn academy." Lori thought about it then asked "Wouldn't it be easier if I faked a miscarriage?" Zane looked dazed as if he was thinking about it, then as if someone flicked a switch in his brain he then said "Oh, OK didn't think of that how stupid am I?" Zane said as he smacked his forehead hard, Lori shook her head "Your not stupid you just remember the things that are and aren't necessary so that dosen't make you stupid I do that too!"  Lori waved her hands in the air as if telling him he wasn't the only one. Zane stared at her though his eyes were telling her that she was the best girlfriend ever. "Come on let's go tell Mosh and uh.. Blake about our plan." Lori said grinning bashfully as she pulled Zane up, as they were walking over to Mosh's dorm Lori saw a kid. Well it wasn't a kid it looked about the same age as Lori but the freaky thing  about it was it's body. It had white eyes, it was anorexic, pale and it had slashes all over it's chest. Lori heard Zane sigh then put his arm around her "Poor guy."he said gloomily Lori was still staring at it "What happened to him?" Lori asked there was a hint of concern in her voice "He joined the Shadows and well now people like you... mainly Mosh will have to end him before he attacks anyone else." Lori smiled only because she now realised that she didn't have to kill Luke for a couple of months, then realising again that her boyfriend could read minds she stopped smiling and got the thought out of her head. "Mosh, are you home?" Lori & Zane basically singed, as they  were banging on Mosh's door "Yeah I'll be there in a min- ow!" Lori gasped "Are you OK?" Mosh laughed then replied "Yeah I'm fine!" When Mosh opened the door Lori stared in horror "What happened to you?" Lori asked trying to reach for Mosh's

face, Mosh smacked her hand away "It's nothing Chad and I were just messing around." Zane started clenching and unclenching his fists "Let me in Mosh!" Zane yelled. Suddenly, Chad just popped up out of nowhere and started a little trail of kisses down Mosh's neck, Mosh sighed "Give it up already!" Mosh yelled trying to force him off her "Shutup bitch!" Chad yelled back as his eyes randomly turned from blue to black "Lori get behind Zane now!" Mosh yelled to Lori as she punched Chad right in the face and started running towards her backpack, Zane gasped then looked at Lori as if he was  telling her to run, "I have to help her Lori.' Lori held his hand 

"I know. Be careful." Zane kissed Lori on the forehead and ran off to defend his sister, Lori on the other hand bolted to Mrs Flockers classroom. 'Hello Lori, I have something to tell you. It's taken me a while to realise this but, your my daughter.'
