I blush immediately and turn to look away. "You think I'm cute?" I asked in a flirty tone to tease him in order to calm tmy own heart that's been beating wildly in my chest.

"I always do," he said in a flirty tone too.

I need to change the subject before this gets deeper than it already is, before we had no way of going back. "You kinda screamed 'yellow!' at the bridge just now," I joked and laughs as soon as I said it, remembering how worried Ivan looked when I was about to jump from before. It was so funny, when I think back on it now. "Who the fuck stops someone from committing suicide by screaming some color?" I asked jokingly and laugh aloud to his face.
