There was a man. A law-abiding citizen... paid his taxes, worked from 9 to 5, lived alone in a simple apartment, separated from his wife... Just an average person. One day, he was arrested on the accusation of murder to his next-door neighbor, a high-class prostitute. He insisted in not knowing anything about her and that he just knew her as a neighbor and he has no motive at all to kill her.

But he was sent to a life in prison under several circumstantial evidences since he was proved to be in her apartment at the time of the murder, his fingerprints were all over the murder weapon, his DNA was also found from a glass of champagne in her kitchen, and he had no confirmed alibis. Angered and certained that he was framed for the murder, he resorted to prove his innocence by hanging himself to death in his cell and wrote on the wall with his blood 'I'm not a murderer. My life is my proof.'
