I apologise in advance...
- Third Person -
Edward walked down the stairs, knife in hand and slowly sliding it over his own palm. Not letting it cut though, just allowing himself to feel the sharpness of the blade. He hummed as he made his way over to the boy laid chained down to the metal table, with a quick swipe he plunged the knife into the boy's thigh.
"Shhh... shhh... shhh..." Edward whispered, running his fingers through the fake blonde hair. He ran his tongue over his upper set of teeth as he watched the boy shake and make muffled screams. "That's it... relax for me."
Edward smiled as Niall's breathing relaxed slowly, taking the chance and twisting the knife, a loud laugh emitting from his throat as the pained sounds returned. "You don't like this, do you? Well, that's too bad." He grunted and gave it one last hard twist, blood oozing out of the wound that had been created. "You're a bleeder aren't you?"
Edward walked away, shifting the light in the room so it was just focused on the metal table. Plunging his own brother into darkness. His gag was tight and doubled up, no noise would be leaving his body. Didn't matter though, he was drowned out by Niall's.
"You really shouldn't have said all those things too Louis today. Went behind my back. Made him question me." Edward began to circle the table, fingers brushing on the cool metal, slightly vibrating under his touch as Niall squirmed and jerked. "He's mine and I don't appreciate you trying to take away what's mine." Edward emphasised the word 'mine', a slight growl emitting as he did so.
Niall was quick to shake his head, tears streaming down his face in both fear and pain. He was beyond frightened. He had not been trying to take Louis, he knew that and was desperate to communicate that with the curly-head man. But, to no avail. It was clear the man circling him like prey was not budging with the gag.
Edward moved over to where he hung his tools, more like torture devices. He was plotting how he should go about this, deciding the best items for the job. He wanted Niall to suffer immensely, prolonging the boy's death would be the best way to do that.
Edward's eyes squinted as his fingers brushed against every possible option, none seemed to ignite that spark in him. That fact almost made him just want to shoot a bullet right through Niall's skull. His hunger for revenge wouldn't be satisfied by these options though. There was no joy in such an easy kill, one that had such personal relations to him, Louis and his brother.
"You better not bleed out Niall." He huffed as he continued his scan of the items, punching the board as he became frustrated with the lack of inspiration he was getting. "You know this is really annoying actually? Why are you doing this Niall? It's aggravating me. If you just kept your mouth shut and didn't try and prompt my little Lo-"
Edward stopped speaking and moving right there and then. Almost motionless. A realisation began to wash over him and the burning he had been looking for began to fill his veins. His lips twisted into a smirk, ever so slowly as his mind darkened with thoughts, fingers beginning to twitch with excitement.
"Actually Niall." He started, moving over to the boy, leaning over so his head was right above Niall's, his hands on either side of Niall's head. "You've made me realise something. Made me realise something. I've been too soft on Louis, slowly breaking him is taking too long. I need to destroy his mind. I know exactly how to do that."
"Wait here will you, I won't be long." Harry grinned and left the room, whispering his plan to Zayn as he headed to the lounge room where he had excused himself from watching some dumb movie with Louis. Edward huffed to himself at the fact he had even considered just lounging and watching a movie with the blue-eyed boy.
