"George Michael Dolenz! I am serious!"
Micky Dolenz was a man of many talents. One of them being making people laugh. Whether it be from an impression or zingy one liner, he prided himself on bringing out that joyous sound in people. He felt accomplished when eyes crinkled and heads fell back. And that accomplished feeling only grew when he was able to make his favorite person let out a few giggles.
But, when his favorite person was a college student and ten feet deep in homework, that task proved to be difficult.
"I'm serious, too, Y/N! Now, one more time: knock, knock?"
Y/N rolled her eyes and dropped her pencil. A dramatic sigh fell from her lips, "Who's there, Mick?"
The sight of her boyfriend trying to hold back a wild grin was almost enough to make her drop her irritated facade. Y/N truly was a fool for the curly haired boy. He made sunflowers bloom in her chest, even when he was bugging her while she did homework. He always had his way of creeping into her heart.
"Interrupting cow." Oh, joy. The interrupting cow bit.
"I'm not saying it."
"Oh, c'mon, babe! You can't leave me hanging!" Micky placed his hands on her shoulders and lightly shook her back and forth.
A small, defeated smile stretched Y/N's lips. His hands slid down her arms and gently held her hands. The musician brought her hands to his lips and pecked the back of each one before letting them drop into his lap. He put on his most convincing puppy dog eyes.
A moment of silence passed between the couple as Micky pouted and Y/N tried to not give in. Her resolve crumbled when that cute little smile that was meant only for her slowly etched onto his lips.
"...interrupting cow—"
"Moo!"
The giggles seemed to come involuntarily. She playfully pushed his shoulder. Micky's grin only grew as his girlfriend shook her head with laughter spilling out of her mouth.
