"What were you two giggling about during Charms?" Ron will ask while we walk back to the common room, suspicious of our unusual behavior. Usually when we got time to study during a class, we made sure to only focus on our work.
"Oh, nothing," Hermione will dismiss his question, knowing the real answer would infuriate both Ron and Harry.
"Okay," Ron will narrow his eyes, not believing her.
"I'm so excited for the Christmas break, I'll get to catch up on my reading!" Hermione will say happily, looking forward to leaving with the rest of the students tomorrow.
"But you're reading all the time!" Ron will roll his eyes. "Anyways, Daisy, are you still staying here?"
"Yeah," I will nod. "I'm gonna spend a lot of time studying for our O.W.L.S. anyways."
"Are you sure you don't want to come over? Harry's already coming anyways," Ron will offer, for the thousandth time.
"Oh, it's fine. I spend every Christmas here, it's kind of become a tradition," I will shrug, declining his offer like I've done every time.
"I would offer you to come over, but we're having our extended family over as well, and that's going to be chaotic," Hermione will apologize, not seeming excited about that aspect.
"You could go to Hogsmeade though," Harry will suggest.
The mention of Hogsmeade will remind me of Malfoy's one condition. There's no way Hermione could be right about him being serious, right? There's no chance he could be serious, all he will have ever done was tease me throughout the years at school. He wouldn't just make a full 180 degree turn and want to date me, that would be insane. Either way, the feelings will not be mutual. Unless he will hate me, then the feelings will be mutual.
"Daisy?" Ron will wave a hand in front of my face, snapping me back into reality.
"Hm?" I will shake my head, getting rid of my thoughts about Malfoy.
"Are you going to have breakfast with us tomorrow morning? Or will you sleep in?" Ron will repeat his question that I didn't hear before.
"Oh, I'll eat with you guys!" I will smile.
