Natasha is doing laundry and watching you play in the doorway with your blocks. James is outside mowing the lawn. You sigh bored and get up and walk to the door and watch your dad through the door and bang on the door. Natasha pokes her head out of the laundry room and chuckles " babe daddy can't hear you. He will be in soon." you sigh " I want daddy Please." Natasha chuckles and scoops you up and kisses your head " daddy will be in soon. He is almost done." Yelena walks " umm I have a surprise for you?" Natasha looks at Yelena " what is it? Should I be concerned?" you smile and wave to your Auntie. Yelena waves back " yes and no. So that mission I was on there was someone we both know that I saved and needs a safe place. It would be good for Y/N too." Natasha let's go as you wiggle down to go play with your toys. Natasha looks confused " what are you talking about?" Yelena sighs " mom is back." Natasha scoffs " she wasn't our mom. And she not staying here I'm not putting my child in danger!" Yelena " she has changed, please." Natasha shakes her head " Yelena I'm serious. She was the reason we were in the red room. What if something happens with y/n I can't lose him."
Yelena " I promise nothing will happen just give her a chance." she calls Melina in and Melina walks in " hey Natasha. I guarantee this will be for a short time." Natasha crosses her arms " nothing better not happen to my son."Melina nods" nothing will happen. I promise. Thank you so much. And I can't believe I have a grandson! You too grew up so much." James walks in and wipes his face " backyard is done. And I will plant the lilies tomorrow. Hey, Melina is here what is she doing here?" Yelena smiles " she is going to stay here for a while." James nods " as long as Natasha is ok with it. I'm fine with it." you hear your dad's voice and smile wide " daddy!" you run to him and he picks you up and kisses your head " hey buddy." Melina smiles " this is y/n? He is adorable! Hi, I'm Nana." You wave and get nervous Natasha gets in front of you " not nana. But Melina." Melina sighs but smiles " it is fine."

3 days later;
Tuesday 8:30 am

Natasha is making you breakfast; you are sitting in your chair. Melina smiles and walks " good morning. How are you two this morning?" You smile and wave " nana! Can we go to the park again ?" Natasha looks at Melina and you " again? What are you talking about?" Melina smiles a cheeky smile " well someone got me in trouble. You would be a terrible widow." She kisses your head and you giggle and hand her strawberries. Natasha glares at Melina " well he isn't ever going to have that life! And James wouldn't ever let you take him." Melina sighs " James had a conference call with Nick yesterday. So I took him out yesterday. I'm not going to hurt him. And I'm sorry for abandoning you and Yelena. But we had a mission and we play our roles to perfection but I promise you I have changed." Natasha sighs " I'm letting you stay here but I'm not falling for the mom act again." She finishes the pancakes and eggs and serves you. Melina sighs and brushes your hair out of your eyes. You smile and eat some of the pancakes with your hands; Natasha cleans up and sighs " I'm just worried that something will happen. I'm a mom now; I can't let anything happen to y/n he is my lighthouse. He saved me and James." Melina looks up " I promise you I won't hurt you guys. I left the whole thing behind. And Yelena helped me. Just give me a chance." Natasha sets down the sponge " I have to go grocery shopping want to come with me? You can help me with y/n. Melina smiles and nods " I would love that. " everyone changes and heads to the store. Natasha let Melina put you in her basket and you smile and whisper " nana can we get toys?" Melina chuckles " of course we can. You are too cute to say no to. " she goes to get dinosaurs, power rangers, and legos and then finds Natasha. She is getting veggies and fruit and looks over " where did you two go?" you smile wide " nana got me toys!" Natasha smiles " did you say thank you?" you nod, " nana says I'm too cute to say no to." Natasha laughs " Melina you don't have to do that for him." Melina smiles " it is fine. Look at that smile." Natasha sighs " let finish shopping and head home."

Later that evening
Melina and Yelena are playing with you while Natasha cooks dinner. James walks in and smiles " honey I'm home." you poke your head up " bye guys! Daddy home!" you run to your daddy and smile " daddy! I miss you!" he picks you up and kisses your head " hey buddy how was your day?" you smile " nana brought me toys and mama read me 5 stories at naptime!" James smiles " well sounds like you had a great day. But I can beat mama's record and read you 6 at bedtime." Natasha sticks her head out and smiles " it not a competition babe. " she walks out and kisses James " I'm glad you are home."
