Why are you leaving?

You are still 3 years old
And Reed is a month old
11:30 am

Natasha finishes changing Reed and James gets you ready " babe are you ready?" James nods " yes. And I got the boy's bags. Let go." you run out to the car and your mom gets Reed in his car seat and helps you. You smile " mama after the haircut. I get ice cream?" Natasha kisses your head " of course. But remember we have errands to run too." James walks out and sets the bags in and gives you your juice. He looks at Natasha " am I driving or you?" Natasha smirks " oh you are handsome. You were the last one out the door." James groans and gets in the driver's seat and when Natasha gets in he sets his hand on her thigh. And she smiles and holds James' hand. James heads to the barbershop to get his haircut and your haircut. Then they head to the grocery store and get diapers and some food. And then get ice cream. You and your dad share a sundae while your mom and you talk " but why does daddy have to leave?" Natasha smiles and cleans off your face " he has to go to work. But when he gets home we will go the beach house again." You smile and nod " and build sandcastles?" Natasha nods "of course."  You smile " is daddy returning Reed?" Natasha and James look at you and James laughs as Natasha rolls her eyes " No. Reed isn't going anywhere. You have to get used to him." you shrug and finish " when we go home can we watch power rangers ?" James nods " of course." 
You guys head home and James gets you out while Natasha gets Reed out she looks over " bubba wanna cuddle with me?" you nod and smile. And run to their room She gets Reed out and follows you. James grabs the groceries and follows. He puts them away and heads to where you guys are. Natasha is feeding Reed while you are cuddling with your mom. James smiles and grabs his duffle and starts packing. As Natasha looks over " I can talk to Nick and maybe you don't have to go." James gives her a look  " babe it doesn't work that way. You know that." she sighs annoyed and ruffles your hair. You look up and snuggle closer as James packs and smiles "  well I will hurry so we can cuddle."   He packs and looks over " it will only be a week. And Yelena coming home tonight and she will help you.  I know this isn't ideal especially with two babies now. But we will get through this." Natasha sniffles and Reed finishes eating. She pulls him off and hands him to James so she can cuddle with you. She kisses your head and you yawn and cuddle into her playing with her ear. You fall asleep and she sighs " you better come home, James. You have two boys who need you." James adjusts Reed and looks over at Natasha " babe I will come back. I'm with Steve and Sam I think everything will be fine. And besides, I have a milf at home that I love." Natasha rolls her eyes and smiles "  you don't have to charm me anymore." he leans over and kisses her " I know."  you guys enjoy the night together. You even got your dad to read you 5 books at bedtime.

The next morning
6:30 am
Natasha sighs and hugs James " I will see you in a week.  And then you are never leaving this house." he smiles and kisses Natasha deeply " deal. Don't worry babe. I will be home soon."  Natasha nods and smiles " I hope I can handle the boys. At least they can't double team yet." James laughs " oh they will." he hugs Natasha tight " I' gotta go. Steve will get mad." he lets Natasha go and smiles as he walks out.  She cleans up the dishes and sighs.  She heads back to bed to cuddle with you guys.

Three days later:
11:30 pm
You run and grab the bread and give it to your mom. She smiles " thanks bubba. Are you ready?" you nod and smile Yelena walks down and groans " Natasha did you take my vest?" Natasha looks up " I did.  And it is in my dirty basket. I will wash it tonight and give it to you. Just wear something else." Yelena groans and grabs her blue raincoat and you smile at her " auntie let go!" Natasha makes sure  Reed is warm in the stroller.  You guys start walking to the park. You jump in the puddles and giggle "  come on auntie! Jump!"  Yelena smiles and jumps in the puddles with you. You guys play on the swings and slides. You guys walk to the pond and you pout " mama there are no ducks!" Natasha parks the stroller and smiles " they are. They are on the other side." she points and you smile and grab the bread and throw some into the water. The ducks swam over and you smile " Quack! Quack!  Mama show Reed the ducks!" she smiles and brings Reed out. He coos and snuggles against your mom. You smile " bubba look!" he coos and you throw more bread in the water. Yelena smiles  " want me to take a photo for James?" Natasha nods and smiles " yes, please. Come here babe." you look and run to your mom and she takes a photo and sends it to James.  " alright bubs five more minutes and we head home deal?" you nod and play with the ducks. You guys head home and you continue to play in the puddles. Natasha chuckles " we are taking a bath when we get home I don't want you getting sick." you guys get close and Yelena points and whispers " hey isn't that Nick SUV?" Natasha nods  " umm take the boys in for me." Yelena grabs your hand and pushes Reed's stroller into the house. Nick steps out of the car   " Hey I'm sorry. I have some bad news." Natasha gulps " what happens?" Nick nods and takes a breathe " James has been captured. Steve and Sam are rough up. But Hydra kidnapped James." Natasha shakes her head " how? It was supposed to be an easy mission in and out." Nick sighs " somehow they knew." she wipes her eyes " I got to go.... I will call Steve." she heads in and starts sobbing. Yelena and you look over and you run to her " mama why are you crying?" she holds you and doesn't say anything.
