The Luna's Path

Chapter 13

     The sun rises into the sky with warmest smile, the soft breeze and the slowly flying curtains was just fairy tales like. I was still sleeping and the birds were chirping happily on the trees. I yawned and woke up really slowly and lazily. I thought about Alex and went to the bathroom.

Oh god, today also I need to face Mr. Alpha. Pff.... moon goddess is this a test, as I have somehow reject the love of Alex in the past and now I need to fight for the same love. I understand why love is important. I was still talking to myself when I heard a small knock.

    I wore a sport bra and a loose sweat pant. I opened the door still yawning when I saw Xender, he was crying. 

"What happened, Xen? And also this early morning," I scrutinize outside and saw no one. "Mom...mom..." he was trying to say something. Alex had told me that his mom was no more and sometimes he got nightmares and often went to Alex to sleep. He was raised by one of the female member of the pack but was not happy.

 "Oh my small monster, you should not cry like that. You are a big baby now." I said while making him comfortable on the bed. I patted him until he sleep again. He was so small, I really like him. 

"Xender....Xender..where are you?" Someone was shouting Xender name repeatedly.

    I opened my door and saw a lunatic looking man searching for him and it was non but Alex. 

"Díaz, why are you shouting like that, you are going to wake him up. He's sleeping in my room, you idiot." I said a little harshly. 

"Don't call me, Díaz!" he said with his dark eyes. I just can't help myself to tease him.

    He came in and took Xender from me. I did not mind as far as he was safe.

 "Bye,Dí-" he cut me and slammed the door really hard. Pff, no fun with him, always the cocky Alpha. 

"Blah..blah...nonsense," I muttered.

      As I was about to enter the kitchen, someone tap me and it was Kinsley. 

"What!" I asked. 

"I want breakfast, can you make for me," he asked. I was shocked when he blushed up. Ha, that was worth a dollar to see this. I nodded and go to prepare breakfast.

     I heard a squeal in the corridor and saw a small girl with Xender, they were playing around the kitchen and it was not safe here. I scolded them and they quietly went outside to play. I heard a gasp behind me, it was a woman. 

"I'm Cath. I'm the guardian of Xender and mother of Mia." she introduced herself. That's small girl was Mia. 

"Thank you," she said. I looked at her in surprise and why to thank me. Maybe she noticed my surprise looking face and said, "for telling them not to play inside, they sometimes mess around and I was tired of telling them."

Alex point of view:-

    I could not open my eyes after I brought Xender to Cath, I went to sleep again. My eyes were burning maybe I was trying to use my mind too much. Hell, that hurts.

Krystal point of view:-

   I felt a pang of pain across my body and I fell on the floor.

  "Mate, need us....." my wolf growled. I tried to stand and ran to Alex's room and entered without knocking.

  He was hot with fever and I panicked. 

"Krystal, I need you, please stay with me." he asked.

 "I'm here for you, Dí- I mean Alex," I said. I put a wet cloth on his forehead and waited for him to get well soon.

After one night and half day....

      He woke up and saw me next to him. He pulled me into his arms and inhaled my scent.

 "Krystal, I love you, Te iubesc, mea Luna," he whispered. I cuddled more into his arms and felt his warm was so good.

    I woke up and I saw the most loving thing in front of me, my mate, my arrogant alpha. I laughed at my own comment. He turned and was staring at me. 

"What's so funny?" he asked. 

"Not..nothing.." I struggle to answer.

    "Oh.. really..its nothing...then why have I heard you called me, arrogant alpha," he stated. I flinched and stared at him. Our bond was strong again but how?

 "I remember you, my Krystal. I'm sorry for what I've done to you." he apologised. I made a pout face and look away, but I was damn happy, this day can't get better. 

"You know, I love you, so why that face,huh?" he asked.

    I turned to face him and suddenly I jumped on him and hugged him tightly. 

"Krystal...you know you are going to kill me if you hug me too tightly," he chuckled. I punch him in his chest, "how rude" I said.

    "You can't imagine how much happy I am," I said while making small jumps on the bed still on my knee. 

"Stop right now, or I'm going to eat you instead of breakfast," he said with a wide grin on his face. I smacked his hand from me and get out of bed immediately.

    "I'm not eatable, you got to find another source of food," I said while sticking my tongue out. 

"Krystal, come back here." he said and I ignored him and walked out of the room. I reached my room after that small walk smiling to myself.

Krystal seem happy with the current event, that is, Alex has regained his memory but was it true? Does he remember everything? Is this happiness going to last long or ..... Discover what would happen in the next chapter....☺
