"Mom!" Jace exclaimed as he ran into the apartment with Bucky following inside.

Kira gave her son a huge hug, picking him up and swinging him around. "I'm so glad you're okay," she told him as she set him back down.

Once most of the debris was cleaned up and the room put back to normal, Bucky asked if he could talk to Jace alone and took him out to the little balcony.

They both sat in the patio chairs in silence, listening to the traffic outside. Bucky leaned forward, finally gathering the courage to speak up, "Jace, there's something you need to know."

Jace looked over at him, "You're my dad aren't you?"

Bucky's brows furrowed for a moment, wondering how everyone seemed to figure this out before he could process anything, "How did you know?"

Jace shrugged, "because you're cool. And I heard Captain America say I looked like you."

Bucky smiled, realizing that his son may also have a heightened hearing sense like him, but then his expression got serious as he continued, "you need to know the truth Jace. I wasn't a good guy when I met your mother. I did a lot of bad things for very bad people"

"But you're a good guy now aren't you? You're friends with Captain America!" Jace said

Bucky let out a chuckle, "'Yes. I am now. Captain America is one of my closest friends"

"So does that mean you're going to live with us now?" Jace beamed with a giant grin on his face.

Buck titled his head side to side, "Well, there's some details me and your mom have to work out. But I'll definitely be around, if that's okay with you"

He jumped over, giving Bucky a big hug. "My friends are going to be so jealous! My dad is a super hero with a metal arm!" Jace yelled out excitedly as he ran back inside.

Later that evening after putting Jace to bed, Kira strolled into the kitchen, finding Bucky helping with the dishes. "So what are your plans tonight?" she asked as she walked up next to him.

He dried his hands off, "Well, I was hoping to crash here tonight, if that's okay" His voice husky as he turned and grabbed down by her hips, lifting her up onto the counter. She gulped as he pushed his body between her legs and held her close. Her hands traveled up his arms to behind his neck.

He leaned his head closer as he held her stare. "You may not remember much about that night. But I remember everything..." he whispered against her lips, "every single detail"

She pulled him towards her, pressing her lips against his. He groaned as her lips parted for his tongue to slide in her mouth. He moved his metal hand behind her head and pushed her closer to deepen the kiss as he tasted every inch of her mouth, twisting and swirling his tongue around hers.

Bucky pulled back as soon as he heard little footsteps. Kira covered her mouth as Jace entered the kitchen, "Ew, what are you guys doing?" he asked as he rubbed his tired eyes then shook his head, "nevermind" After grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge he turned back around and said, "are you guys going to be weird when i'm not around?"

Kira held back a laugh as she cleared her throat before replying, "Just go to bed. I'll come tuck you in here in just a minute"

Jace smiled, "I want dad to tuck me in!" and then he ran off to his room.

"Mhm. Dad duties call" she teased as she pulled Bucky back to her, "and you're definitely sleeping on the couch. I don't trust myself with you in my bed"

He smirked, knowing damn well he didn't trust himself either. The times he spent in cryosleep affected years of his life. For her it's been 10 years. But for him, it felt like it could have been months ago, especially with his extremely vivid and recurring dreams.

The expression on her face changed as she started talking in a more serious tone, "You know, part of me had always wanted this; to see you again," she let out a deep breath, "But I never believed it would actually happen. And now that you're here. I have no idea what to do."

"This is new territory for me too" he spoke up, "My mind wasn't my own back then. So when I started having dreams about you, I thought they were fake images. But when I saw you earlier, you literally took my breath away. Even my dream had nothing compared to the beauty that radiates from you."

She blushed at his comment.

"But I want to do this right," he added, "for you and Jace"

The rest of the week went by like a blur, Bucky was busy trying to figure out his new responsibilities while learning about the type of person his son was. It was also harder to resist Kira than he anticipated.

She was also having to adjust to having a man around and they often found themselves in compromising positions. Like running into each other half naked outside the bathroom, or Kira walking around in just a shirt and panties.

Bucky was sitting on the couch when Jace threw a bag on the floor by the door. "What's that?" Bucky asked. Kira slipped up behind the couch, behind Bucky. She leaned over, running her hands down his shoulders as she mentioned in an almost sensual tone, "Jace is going to stay at a friend's house tonight." she pecked a kiss on his cheek before she pushed herself back up.

Bucky's eyebrows raised as he realized what she said. He bit down on his bottom lip, holding back his smirk. It was just going to him and Kira tonight...
